Hi, this is video monitor Steve Feltheterian. I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking in to theweathermanpodcom on your Friday. It is the 12th day of the month of July and we're looking at the weekend. It looks like it's going to be a mixed bag of weather activity. For the Northeast Corridor, that's, from DC to Wilmington, to Philadelphia, new York City and up into the Boston area, we are expecting showers and some thunderstorms, especially during the midday and afternoon hours, and that'll be during the daytime on Friday. Friday night more showers and some locally heavy downpours, and overnight temperatures down to about 70. So highs will range in the mid-80s. Might be some breaks of sunshine, but there'll be some showers in the morning and even thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Nighttime lows near 70. Now, saturday at this point shows the front slowly shifting offshore, so we're going to get into a clearing trend, but not until the afternoon. During the morning there'll still be some showers and thunderstorms, so and it looks like some rainy weather to start Saturday, but dry weather to end it. In the evening hours, highs for the day 85. Sunday back to sunny and hot weather. High pressure across the Great Lakes will build right in and it means sunny, hot weather for several days next week. Heat advisories are likely to return for the northeast corner on Sunday, monday, tuesday and Wednesday, before we see a cool down towards the end of next week Elsewhere across the nation. If you're traveling, well again there's going to be delays in the New York, newark area, philadelphia, dc, all the way up into the Boston area, more expensive delays because of showers and thunderstorms on Friday and Friday evening and Saturday. So delays probably depending upon how intense the thunderstorm action is, but it will cause some significant problems flying about on the daytime Friday and Friday evening.

Down in Atlanta it's looking pretty good. Charlotte will have some scattered showers, but not major weather there. South Florida also looking pretty good. No problems weather-wise, just some isolated thunderstorms, typical South Florida weather for this time of year. Dallas and Houston all looking dry. Chicago looking dry, mostly dry across Minnesota. However, the northwestern corner some of that rain will be moving in from the Dakotas and on the west coast the dry, hot weather continues from San Diego all the way up to Seattle. I'm Eddie Montessi Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great Friday. Make the best of the rain in the Northeast corner. We will be getting in some improving weather by later Saturday and we'll talk to you about the weather on Saturday morning first thing tomorrow. Hope you check in Take.
