Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Proletarian. I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom On your Wednesday. It's the 23rd day of the month of October 2024, and it's fall foliage that's bursting out across the nation. At this point, southern states from about well say, the central portion and southern portion of Illinois, the central Mississippi River Valley, all the way south it looks like colors at this point are in low color mode. However, elsewhere there's that one sweet area across Pennsylvania, the Appalachians, across western Virginia, the Shenandoah and all the way up into New England. In some places over in New England it's already at their peak color and a lot of the leaves are just about basically falling at this point. But you do see an area, some of the more greater populated regions New York City, philadelphia, washington DC, baltimore, buffalo, rochester, all the way up in Albany, even in the Boston area, chicago, wisconsin, a good portion of Madison, up to Milwaukee and even up to Green Bay, still looking at peak color at this time. Also looking at peak color across southern portions of South Dakota. North Dakota is already at peak, as is Montana, wyoming, idaho and the western states. But if you want to see a detail of this map that I'm looking at right now it's really easy Just go to ExploreFall. Explorefallcom. It's a great site. It tells you just about everywhere where you're going to get some great views, and, of course, across the megalopolis that's from DC up to the Boston area. Well, you're looking at some really fine colors this next several days into this weekend when we'll be approaching peak colors in the northeast and, as mentioned, it's a really low color in the southern states, but from the southern Great Lakes out into the southern and northern plain states we do have some really good colors as well.

Weather-wise, across the nation, on this Wednesday we see a frontal system working its way into the western Great Lakes and it's bringing some rainy weather to Lake Superior, northern portions of the UPM, michigan, eastern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, and it looks like that frontal system will slowly, gradually trudge eastward and will probably bring a little bit of rain to the St Lawrence River Valley, but not much to the parts northeast where it's been very dry since September, and we're also looking at some scattered showers just off the coast of Florida, south Florida also across sections of northern Nebraska, southern portions of South Dakota and portions of northwestern Iowa. The rest of the nation basically dry. So no problems weather-wise traveling all across the nation, not because of the weather. It looks like it's going to be pretty good on this Wednesday. Weather from the northeast corner well, it continues to be very nice.

The Indian summer weather continues from DC up to Boston. A little bit cooler into southern New England. Temperatures could again get close to 80 degrees. It's been an 80 around Monday and on Tuesday, one more day of that. The net frontal system working its way out of the Great Lakes will be arriving in the east. Although skies will be fair, probably of rainfall is very low. We will get into some cooler, more seasonable conditions by later Friday and this upcoming weekend. Across the northeast Carnivore temperatures will be in the 60s, daytime and nighttime lows in the 40s and upper 30s in the cooler interior spots. I'm your host, steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Don't forget. It's explorefallcom. It's a great site. Get to that, you'll see where all the great colors are, especially if you're in the east. I'm.
