Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanbondcom on your Friday, first day of November 2024. And we're looking at a little bit of a change coming about, for today we have a frontal system moving up along the eastern seaboard, basically dry. There is some rainy weather in the Pacific Northwest that looks like it's going to continue from central California northward, all the way up to Argonne, washington and into western Montana and Idaho, up to Oregon and Washington and into western Montana and Idaho, also areas of rain across Texas, southern sections of Oklahoma and into Louisiana alone. That frontal system where it is stationary at this point. But if you're flying today it doesn't look like any major weather problems into Atlanta or Charlotte, although Charlotte will have a few showers and maybe some gusty winds during the afternoon will make it a bit turbulent on landing at the Newark, laguardia, jfk and Northeast airports, especially up around the Boston area a little bit later on. Today Chicago's looking pretty good. High pressure is building right across there clouding up maybe some rain into Minneapolis-St Paul and, as mentioned, dry in LA, but rainy weather in San Francisco and Palo Alto northward, up and through Oregon and in Washington State and Seattle. Tacoma looking overcast, with some driving rains, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Today. Weather situation for the Northeast Corridor well, on this first day of November, after a very dry October where many places, philadelphia only received about a tenth of an inch and in the New York City area one hundredth of an inch .01 for the whole month and that's a record. Now temperature trends have been about 2 degrees above normal from the mid-Atlantic to the northeast for the month of October and it looks like it's continuing one more day. But high pressure building down across the Great Lakes means some cooler conditions for the mid-Atlantic and

northeast. This upcoming weekend Weather for the northeast corner, dc up to the Boston area looking at a clearing trend. After some early showers we get into sunshine in the afternoon, but temperatures still mild. One more day mid to upper 70s, a clearing trend at night back into the 40s 30s. Western New York State and western Pennsylvania and also across the Great Lakes. However, you're going to see temperatures tomorrow only 55 to 60. That'll be on Saturday and on Sunday. Clouds moving in, maybe a little bit of warm-up towards the middle of next week. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour. Fall back before retiring. On Saturday evening we return to Eastern Standard Time, a time where the sun rises at around well, somewhere between 615 and 645, depending upon where you are in the nation and then sets closer to 5 o'clock. It starts to feel like late season already. I'm meteorologist, steve Felthutier, and I'm the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today on your Friday. Talk to you first thing Saturday. Have a great weekend.
