Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Monday. It is the fourth day of November 2024 already and we're still looking at that dry condition continuing across the mid-Atlantic and northeast states. For us to take a look at aviation weather flying if you're flying on this Monday doing any business across the nation or some traveling, you may see business across the nation or some traveling. We are looking at generally some cloudy weather across the nation's bit section from the Great Lakes all the way down to the Gulf Coast and some locally severe weather in Missouri, northern sections of Arkansas and out of central Oklahoma where there could be locally severe weather, including the possibility of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes along a frontal system that extends from Western Lake Superior all the way down into Central and East Texas. So that'll be causing some problems in those areas and into the Chicago area also looking at the possibility of some rainy conditions. So possibly some delays into Dallas, fort Worth, houston also Louisiana and St Louis. Today, minneapolis, st Paul, also with the frontal system, there will be rain and the possibility of some flight delays into Minneapolis, st Paul and then dry conditions in the east Newark, new York, laguardia, jfk up to Boston, down to Philly, down to Baltimore and DC. No problems weather-wise there. The weather's going to be pretty good. Good at Cleveland and Cincinnati, no problems at Charlotte, no problems also in Atlanta with decent conditions, just some late-day thunderstorms in Miami, fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers. Out on the West Coast, dry in LA, san Diego and also in San Francisco. But a northern portion of California rain will be moving again. Looks like rainy weather for Oregon and also Seattle.
Speaker 0:Most of Washington State Snow in the mountains of western Montana and northern Idaho and that will be moving eastward over the next several days. Weather across the northeast corner dry conditions continue. The drought weather pattern from central Virginia all the way up into southern New England. As skies will be partly sunny today, temperatures on Monday ranging from the upper 50s north to the lower 60s south. Tomorrow will be going into the 70s, probably around 72, dc, 75 in Baltimore. Also looking at around 70 to 75 in New York City, 65 to 70 in Boston. It's on Wednesday that'll be the warm one, all the way up to 80 degrees in New York City and DC, about 70 to 75 in the Boston area. That frontal system gradually arriving might give us a much-needed rainfall in the northeast sometime later Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
