Speaker 1:

Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Saturday. It is the 16th day in the month of November 2024. Up along the eastern seaboard that northerly wind continues across the area, keeping dry and gusty winds. So fire advisories, wildfire advisories for much of eastern and central Pennsylvania, down into Maryland, delmarva, northward, all the way up into southern New England. It's been dry and because of that strong wind wildfires are pretty good. But if in fact there is an ignition of some type, the only way that could be because most of the time when you have these fires they're usually caused by lightning and when you have them forming just around the area with no lightning actually perfectly clear skies it's got to be from human beings. So keep that in mind no fires, don't even think of going out campfiring or anything like that. The situation can be quite tough. So weather situation for the Northeast on Saturday and Sunday Temperatures of 60 to 65. That's about five degrees above normal for this time of year. Dry conditions right in through Monday we do see a weather front approaching. We'll once again be basically dry. The next possibility for some significant rainfall probably next weekend, one week from today. But if you're traveling on this Saturday looking at good weather in Boston, new York, newark, laguardia, jfk saw about an hour and a half delays into Newark today, don't know why. In Newark, laguardia, jfk Saw about an hour and a half delays into Newark today, don't know why. The winds were good, they were not strong. We're not seeing any significant weather situations, but for some reason there were some delays at Newark. Also, atlanta showing good weather, charlotte no problems there.

Speaker 1:

Dallas-fort Worth clear skies. Some showers are possible in Chicago, but nothing much. It looks like overcast and wet weather up around Minneapolis, st Paul Send some of that to the east if you would and down on the west coast looks dry for LA, san Francisco Looks like rainy weather for Portland and Seattle, and so no problems. Basically eastern seaboard weather for the day 60 to 65 today, tomorrow. Also in the 60s, mid-60s to upper 60s on Monday of next week. One report just before this one, the one that's listed on Friday, do have the winter outlook. Might be a little long-winded 10 minutes. We'll try to break that down A little bit more of a well, maybe one or two-minute report. That should come your way sometime on Sunday or Monday. I'm Steve Pelletieri. Thanks for checking in. Hope you have a great weekend. Talk to you first.
