Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Friday. It's the 13th day of the month of December 2024. A look across the nation shows fair weather in the east and some rainy weather moving into the west and Pacific Northwest. Right down the middle looks like another little area of low pressure there is causing some rain from central portions of Kansas down through Oklahoma, east Texas. It's also showing up as an ice storm across portions of Iowa, eastern Nebraska and southeastern sections of South Dakota. That's all going to slowly drift towards the east. That high pressure cell is from the central Great Lakes right over to central and northern New Jersey and it will give us nice weather for today and tomorrow, but cold. But then that increase in clouds and it looks like that rainy weather will be arriving in the northeast on Sunday night and Monday, probably right in through Tuesday as well. So if you're flying on this Friday commercially looking at some decent weather in New York, philadelphia, dc, all the way up to the Boston area, no problems weather-wise expected there, no problems weather-wise into the Chicago or into the Minneapolis-St Paul and sections of central and western North Carolina. Charlotte looking very good there, as does Atlanta no problems weather-wise. There might be a few isolated showers just around central and southern portions of Florida. So Tampa probably good weather. Good weather down in Miami Might be a late-day thunderstorm. Wet weather in Houston. That'll slow things down into Houston and also into Dallas-Fort Worth. Occasional rain and showers expected there. Dry conditions in LA and San Diego but wet rainy weather in San Francisco, portland and up in the Washington DC area. So our weather forecast for your Friday across the Northeast Carter that goes from DC up to the Boston area.
Speaker 1:We're centered right around central and northern New Jersey. Look for a sunny day. Today. Highs will range into the mid-30s At night, clear Teens to lower 20s. Saturday is going to be sunny. Highs will reach the middle 30s again and increasing clouds on Sunday will bring us the possibility of that rain Sunday night. It looks like rainy weather on Monday Could be a little icy mix when it starts on Sunday night, especially interior sections of New Jersey, northeastern PA, central and western New York State. But all other places, all places will have rainy weather on Monday and Tuesday of next week. I'm meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Saturday.
