Hi , this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom . It's Saturday and the 22nd day of the month of February and it looks like some warmer weather starting to move into the mid-Atlantic and northeastern states . Look at the weather forecast for the northeast corner , from DC up to the Boston area , centered around Philly and New York . You've got a mostly sunny day today . A high temperature will range generally between 40 and 45C , about 39 , near 40 degrees in the city and up in the Boston area basically about 30 to 35 . Well , looking at fair skies , partly cloudy for tonight , down to about the middle 20s . Then a mostly sunny day for Sunday and our temperatures tomorrow will range from 40 in the normally cooler spots to as much as 48 degrees down in Baltimore and DC . Monday's looking even partly sunny , with temperatures in the lower 50s , upper 40s , low to mid 50s around the area . Mid 50s are likely on Tuesday . So a real warm-up coming up as we get into the last few days of this month of February .

If you are flying on this Saturday , most of the nation is under the influence of high pressure and that means generally dry weather . Where you have a difference course , it's in the pacific northwest . Actually it's extending down closer to the san francisco area , northward up through the california coast , most of oregon and washington area . Low pressure is moving into the pacific northwest will keep rainy weather there , but it's going to be dry in la and san diego . It'll be raining in houston and dallas , fort worth , mostly in houston , the d area Probably a little bit of delays because of some lower cloud cover , but not much in the form of some showers and not anticipating any super severe weather . But there's always that possibility of a thunderstorm .

Along the Gulf Coast . Looks like dry weather in Minneapolis-St Paul , also dry in Chicago , also with a warming trend , warmer weather that's moving into the east . It's going to be arriving across the Great Lakes and Central Plains during the daytime on Saturday . That means some temperatures will be going up above normal in many of those places . However , in the east it looks like dry weather . New York , philadelphia , baltimore and DC , even up to the Boston area , looking at generally dry conditions , no problem as far as flying today it's going to be pretty good , but you do expect that rainy weather , texas Gulf Coast and the Pacific Northwest . I'm your host , steve Pelletier , and I am the weatherman . Hope you have a great Saturday . Looks like some warming weather moving in . We'll talk to you first thing tomorrow , take care .
