Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Monday. It's the 24th day of the month of February 2025. A look at the weather charts shows a stationary front across the Florida Peninsula, looks like another cold front working its way down out of the western Great Lakes and another heavy storm moving into the Pacific Northwest. In the meantime it looks like high pressure across the Tennessee Valley and the mid-Atlantic states and through the Carolinas, northward, through the Virginias, and it looks like fair conditions from DC up to the Boston area for your Monday, and with warmer conditions. It's been very cold so far this month of February, but now for the next three days will most likely be above normal by between 5 and 10 degrees High. Temperatures will range into the 50s, nighttime lows, back into the upper 20s tonight, but in the 30s for Tuesday night and Wednesday. Then a series of cold fronts will be arriving towards the end of the week to bring in the new month of March next weekend. If you're flying on this Monday, expect fair skies in Charlotte and Atlanta, but rainy conditions across Tampa, st Pete all the way down to West Palm and also the chance of showers and thunderstorms from an area of low pressure and across some heavy weather across Miami and Fort Lauderdale as well. Looks like dry conditions for Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, but rainy weather across Chicago and also across central and southern portions of Minnesota, just touching into the Minneapolis-St Paul region. Dry conditions at four corners, san Diego and LA looking fair, but with an increase in clouds and rainy weather for San Francisco, portland and also some heavy rains for the Seattle-Tacoma area during the afternoon and evening hours tonight.

Weather for the Northeast Carter calling for some fair skies today. Highs will range between 50 and 55. Mostly sunny skies and temperatures tonight back down only into the upper 20s, low to middle 30s. All but fair to partly cloudy conditions, with that next front moving through. Another warm day for tomorrow good deal of clouds, maybe a few light showers from around philadelphia down to baltimore and maybe some later afternoon showers in new york and boston. But that's going to bring in dry weather for wednesday. High temperatures tomorrow. On tuesday back into the lower to mid-50s, low to mid-50s, but with sunshine on Wednesday. Turning cooler towards Thursday and Friday of this week, no major areas of low pressure expected, so the rest of February will get a little bit of rainfall on Tuesday and then dry conditions right through early next weekend. I'm your moderator, steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today.
