Weather Insights to Brighten Your Day
Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom. On Wednesday, a 26th day of the month of February, quickly coming to a close, and we've got a little bit of a change in the weather situation in the east and out west Big area high pressure expected to build from Washington all the way down to Southern California through the Four Corners region. We have some still leftover rain showers and even some snow showers in sections of Colorado and New Mexico, and the rainy weather along the frontal system extends from just over Dallas-Fort Worth north and eastward up into central and northern Indiana and northwestern Ohio, with a warm front extending from there right to the mid-Atlantic states right up towards New York City. So it looks like our weather situation for the day for the northeast corridor is going to be sunshine but there'll be an increase in clouds and our high temperatures for the day will reach somewhere between 50 and 55, 45 to 50 up to north and west. But there'll be a little bit more cloud cover and during the evening hours there is that possibility of some showers moving in from that frontal system that I mentioned. It's from Indiana down to Texas. Well, that'll be moving in to the east sometime during the overnight on Wednesday into Thursday, then Thursday some leftover showers in the morning Give way to a clearing trend later today. High temperatures were expected to range up between 55 and 60. That'll be on Thursday, but high pressure is building in behind that frontal system and that'll give us a fair but cool day for Saturday or actually for Friday, and frontal system and that'll give us a fair but cool day for Saturday or actually for Friday, and then for Saturday there'll be another frontal system moving through so there could be in the early going some rain and even some snow showers in some sections across the northeast, giving way to a clearing trend of mild weather and then over to some colder conditions for Sunday and early next week.
Speaker 1:If you're flying on this Wednesday out of the New York area, basically good conditions, no problems arriving or departing into the area airports. Boston also looking fair, dry conditions in Charlotte and Atlanta and also around Central and South Florida as well. Houston is looking dry. Could be some rain in Dallas-Fort Worth, but nothing too heavy. A few left over showers are expected in Chicago. That'll slow things down there. Minneapolis, st Paul basically just clouds, but also on the dry side of good weather for aviation and on the West Coast, from San Diego, la, san Francisco, right up to Portland and Seattle. You've got good weather and it will stay that way. Through this evening I've been your moderator, steve Pelletier, and I'm the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Thursday.
