Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking in to theweathermanpodcom on your Thursday. It's the 27th day of the month of February and it looks like some very nice weather across the nation for the most part. There is some shower action going through the New York, newark and up to the Boston area associated with the weather front moving through. Also some showers rain showers across western PA, central and eastern Ohio. That's associated with high pressure building across the nation's midsection. We do see a very strong high pressure that's going to be building down from Canada for a couple-day stay in the northeast. But generally it looks like some very dry conditions coming up for the daytime on Friday. Also Saturday and Sunday, although trending a little bit colder in the northeast on Sunday. The forecast in detail chance of some showers today High temperatures 55 to 60 for New York City. Looking at showers for the evening hours ending we get into clearing Overnight low temperatures from 31 to 36. Friday is the last day of the month of February. Look for a sunny day. High temperatures will range generally in the mid to upper 40s and it looks like back to clouds and sun with a chance of some showers on Saturday, but Saturday's highs all the way up to about 55 to 60, before that next outbreak of cold air arrives, and Sunday, for New York City, a high of about 35, all with sunny conditions. So up one day, down the next.

Weather-wise, if you're traveling on this Thursday, it looks like the weather's pretty good in Atlanta. Also Charlotte, no problems there. Of course there's a few light rain showers across the New York, boston and Philadelphia area, but nothing much, no major IFR weather or heavy weather. We're looking at fair conditions in Central and South Florida. Texas is looking good. Texas Gulf Coast all the way up to Dallas and Amarillo, and then the Dakotas dry, dry in the West Coast. Finally, even in LA and San Francisco, san Diego, it's typically pretty dry around there.

This is the rainy season, we're just coming to the end of it. But up in the Pacific Northwest, although there is going to be cloud cover in Seattle, just look like a few light sprinkles or showers here and there. So no problems traveling across the nation. Chicago, minneapolis, st Paul, also looking pretty good, and the good weather flow should continue for the next several days. I'm your host, steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. A lot of snowbirds will be heading back north on Friday and Saturday. So we'll give you the forecast up along the eastern seaboard and from those folks coming out of the Arizona and New Mexico area heading back up the Dakotas and Minnesota, we'll talk to you about the weather there as well. No-transcript.
