Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into the weathermanpodcom on your Sunday. It is the ninth day of the month of March, already almost a third of the way through this month of March, with the temperatures on their up and down all around the area. During the weekend it's been pretty cold during the daytime on Saturday because of the strong winds. Actually temperatures were in the 40s in New York City, around 50 in DC and about 40 to 45 up in the Boston area. But for the most part we were looking at generally fair skies, with those gusty winds out of the west-northwest Really added a little chill to the day, though those winds would be dying down during the daytime today and for the northeast corridor look for skies to be sunny then an increase in clouds. There are high temperatures for the day range up to about the mid to upper 40s. Once again it will be a little bit cooler up in the Boston area with an extra cloud cover For tonight it's going to be clear. Nighttime low temperatures down to about only 28 to 35 degrees 28 north and west to about 35 in New York City, philadelphia, around 37 degrees down in DC and just about 32 up in the Boston area. That'll be for Sunday night early Monday. Monday's looking like a pretty good day. As a matter of fact it warmed up quickly. Our high temperatures will get up into the lower 60s in many places, 60 to 65. May even touch 70 to 72 degrees in DC and Philly, but that'll be on Tuesday and in the New York City area about the mid-60s expected at this point. But I wouldn't be surprised to see those temperatures jump even more so by the time we get towards Wednesday. A little frontal system moves through so the temperatures start to dry out just a bit and die down. We'll look for temperatures only going into the 40s to the lower 50s by Wednesday and Thursday of this week, but really not too bad.

Weather-wise. It's going to be generally dry in the northeast. If you're flying on this Sunday and looking at generally fair skies into the Atlanta area, however, there'll be an increase in clouds. It looks like some rainy weather for Sunday night and Monday, but for the daytime today looking pretty good. Also, charlotte's looking okay. Chicago dry dry down to Miami, tampa, st Pete, fort Myers. Out in the Houston area looks like some rainy weather. Rainy weather will continue right up and through the Dallas-Fort Worth area. So IFR conditions there are some flight delays. Minneapolis-st Paul generally clear and looking clear in LA and San Diego. San Francisco dry. Still lots of clouds up in the Portland and the Seattle-Washington area. I'm your manager, steve Pelletier. That is the report for your Sunday, I hope.
