Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Monday. It's the 10th day of the month of March, about a third of the way through. Now we're looking at a weather situation of generally dry weather across the northeast all the way up to the Great Lakes and then southwestward down into most of the Gulf Coast, and then dry weather through four corners, rain moving into LA and San Diego, but on the light side from a storm just offshore and San Francisco. About the same, clouds and fog and maybe some rain a little bit later on today or tonight, but daytime starting off with just a good deal of cloud cover as there's a stationary front and low pressure just off to the west, southwest and to the Pacific, rainy weather moving into the Pacific Northwest, of course, the Seattle and Portland area all looking rainy conditions. There's also some rain around coastal sections of North and South Carolina as an area of low pressure. That was over the nation's Rockies during the early portion of the weekend and later Friday. Now that storm is now moving just off southeast coast, still showing us that the storm paths seem to be in that southerly direction, as they have been so far this late winter. Remember that snow that we had down in New Orleans and coastal sections of the Gulf Coast all the way into Florida and sections of Georgia and South Carolina. There were some places there that haven't seen snow like that in over 25 years and that storm path has been to the south, south one of the reasons why we're seeing such light amounts of snowfall into the northeast. Well, our weather situation, if you're flying today, calling for just a chance of some showers in atlanta and down in charlotte, also clouds and possibility of some rain. Dry in houston and dallas, dry in the chicago area, minneapolis, st paul probably going to get into some clouds, frontal system moving through there. So gusty conditions, maybe some rain and snow showers by tonight or tomorrow, but also rainy weather, most likely in LA later in the day and at night and it looks like clouds, but just a good deal of generally dry weather. In San Francisco, rainy conditions up in Seattle. So some delays, that's typical, but that's just typical weather for the Seattle area.

Weather for the Northeast. Carter, we've got some really great weather coming up this week Sunny skies today or highs will range between 60 and 65. It'll be in the mid to upper 60s on Tuesday, maybe near 70 degrees 70 to 73 degrees in the nation's capital but New York City. Probably right around 68, 63 up in the Boston area. That'll be on Tuesday. Probably right around 68, 63 up in the Boston area. That'll be on Tuesday. Wednesday things start to cool back just a bit. A little cold front moving through. It's currently moving through the Great Lakes, actually the northwestern Great Lakes, and that will be bringing us some cooler weather towards the end of the week, wednesday and Thursday. In the meantime, just some pretty good weather across the northeast. No problem in the New York area if you're flying out of any of the area airports Newark, laguardia, jfk and they're all looking pretty good with the weather cooperating on this Monday. I'm Meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I'm the weatherman. I hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Tuesday. Have a good one.
