Weather Across America
Hi, this is Meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Tuesday, 11th day of the month of March 2025. And a look across the nation shows maybe a little bit of precip on the edges. Actually, much of the mid-Atlantic states, and even the southeast, is very dry. For today it's out in Southern California, southern Arizona, as a matter of fact, a good possibility of some occasional rain. This has an area of low pressure moves into northern Baja and there's also areas of rain from northern California just north of San Francisco right up through Portland and into Seattle, but no big news there. It seems like it's always raining this time of year around the San Antonio-Tacoma area in the month of February and March, weather-wise at least across the northeast it is dry.
Speaker 1:In the New York City area A very warm day upcoming today, near 70. Could get 70 to 75 in DC and Baltimore and those places. Philadelphia, probably about 73 or 74. Boston area probably in the upper 60s for the most part. Generally clouds moving in there. Weather front is moving through tonight that will give us temperatures a little bit closer to normal during the daytime on Wednesday and on Thursday, but with some clouds, with that frontal system almost lingering around the area could be some light rain showers for the evening hours on Wednesday into Thursday and Friday. We are looking at a little bit of a milder flow as we head into this upcoming mid-month weekend.
Speaker 1:In the meantime, if you're flying today, it looks like great weather in the New York area airports Boston not bad, just some cloud cover and maybe a little bit of showers later in the day. Atlanta and Charlotte all perfect, looking perfect weather all across Central and South Florida no problems there. Houston, dallas-fort Worth, amarillo, new Orleans and even up into Chicago. The weather's going to be dry. The only place that we do see any snow at this point is up in the northwestern corner of Minnesota, up by Crookston, minnesota and into northeastern sections of North Dakota, and that's because of some colder air moving down, but it will eventually warm up. Elsewhere on the west coast it still looks like some showers, but nothing much. No major IFR weather in the LA area and, of course, just typical rain and IFR up in Portland and in the Seattle area, especially during the latter portion of today and tonight. I'm meteorologist, steve Feliturian, I'm the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Wednesday. Take care.
