The Weather Man Podcast, I talk about weather!
Your March 24th forecast shows clearing skies for the Northeast by afternoon.
Hello, I'm meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Monday. It is the 24th day in the month of March 2025. Frontal system arriving along the eastern seaboard and still some rain in the Pacific Northwest and even some snow across the UP of Michigan and central and northern Great Lakes, including much of the area surrounding Lake Superior, especially up to the east and over the northern portion of the UP of Michigan, as I mentioned, and extending into northern Lake Michigan western portion of Lake Huron. Also some snow showers just south of Lake Erie and rain showers south and east of Lake Ontario. Those look like a little bit of snow for northern Vermont and New Hampshire. Some rainy conditions in the early going from DC up to, say, new York and the Boston area will be ending during the afternoon. We get into some improving weather with near-seasonable temperatures expected for Tuesday, back to some more rainy weather moving in around the middle of this upcoming week.
Speaker 0:If you're traveling on this Monday, it looks like fairly decent weather for Atlanta and also in Charlotte, although the frontal system moving through there will cause, from showers New York, philadelphia, baltimore and DC some rain showers in the early going, tapering off and some clearing in the afternoon but rainy weather. Ifr conditions up in Boston will cause a few delays up there. Also delays expected across sections of the central and northern portion of Minnesota as a strong frontal system a warm front will be bringing in some rain to that area. But it does look dry in Chicago. Dry also in Houston and Dallas. Dry conditions in much of California at this point Looking at some rain in Seattle Tacoma no big surprise there. So weather-wise doesn't look like any major problems for travelers and for the Northeast. Carter just looks like a rainy start on your Monday but we get into clearing later today and it looks like nice weather for tomorrow. Temperatures today generally near 45 to 50, into the upper 50s to near 60. On Tuesday again a chance of some rain. On Wednesday I'm your host, steve Pelletier and I
