We're going to see everybody. We're going to get together today, so it should be quite fine, but the weather is not the greatest in the Northeast. As a matter of fact, from about central and northern New York State, all the way down through the Carolinas and actually even a little bit westward into the Tennessee Valley. That includes Kentucky and Tennessee. Nashville, of course, it looks like area of low pressure is causing lots of cloud cover and rain. It's a persistent east wind from New York City all the way down to Brigantine and Cape May, down to Dewey Beach and even down to Pocomoke City all the way down into southern end of the Delmarva Peninsula. We've got some very chilly weather and the good possibility of some rain. Today, temperatures are going to be only in the 50s. This type of situation, when it comes off the ocean, always keeps it almost steady upper 40s, low to middle 50s. That's a chilly rain. Off to the north, up in central and northern New York where there could be a little bit of ice, up in the Adirondacks and extreme northern portions of Vermont, however, it looks like more rain will be heavy at times during the evening hours. This is because that low pressure over central North Carolina is going to intensify just off the south Jersey coast With some rain. Maybe one to two inches of rain moves on through. That high pressure Currently across the Great Lakes extending down to the Gulf of Mexico will bring in some very nice weather, but on the cool side as we head towards the second half of the weekend or early next week. But it's going to probably take that long.

This storm meandering around the eastern seaboard looks like it's going to stay for a while Elsewhere across the nation, central and south Florida looking pretty good, looking at fine weather in Texas Gulf Coast, from Brownsville all the way up to Houston and then off toward the northwest into Dallas-Fort Worth and Amarillo, weather's looking generally dry. Chicago's looking dry but chilly. Chilly weather up in Minnesota as well, and the Dakotas. On the west coast it's dry in LA, san Diego, san Francisco and that storm has finally moved over the central and eastern Rockies. So Portland and Seattle A little bit of cloud cover, but maybe a few sprinkles, but nothing or no torrential rains are expected.

So again, if you're flying on this Friday, it looks like IFR weather across coastal and eastern Carolinas. That includes central and western portions of North Carolina, charlotte down to Columbia, south Carolina and also in Atlanta having some showers as well. But elsewhere across the nation no problem weather-wise getting in or out, but again, as I mentioned, the New York City, philadelphia, baltimore and DC area, all with IFR conditions. So that means at least the minimum of a half to possibly an hour delay, maybe more in each particular situation. I'm your volunteer, steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today and we'll talk to you first thing on.
