Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieri and I'm the weatherman. Thanks for checking in to theweathermanpodcom on your Saturday. It is the 12th day of the month of April, quickly approaching mid-month. It looks like across the northeast another storm continues to meander and linger A lot of rainy weather on Friday. Today it looks like a lot of that shower action at least cloud cover associated with that system will linger From the Delmarva Peninsula right up through eastern PA, new Jersey, southeast New York City and also much of New England. The storm will probably wind up just off the coast of Cape Cod and coastal New England.

As we head to the second half of the weekend, high pressure down building in across the Tennessee Valley and southeast states, while rainy weather once again arrives in Minnesota, the northern and central portion of the Great Lakes, and that shows up by some snow across sections of Montana and Wyoming. As another low-pressure system moves across the northern portion of the states, high pressure is building into the west coast and that means good weather for them. Weather for the northeast corridor, though an overcast Saturday. There'll be some occasional rain and showers right in through the evening hours and chilly conditions too. Still looking at that possibility of some snow across the Finger Lakes, the Adirondacks and sections of central and northern New England as the storm pulls away. But high pressure starts to build in and that means Sunday better weather is likely after a cloudy and cool Saturday. It looks like Sunday will have partial sunshine and temperatures back up into the upper 50s into the 60s on Monday and Tuesday, before more rain arrives around midweek. If you're flying on this Saturday, high pressure builds in towards the southeast states, so fair weather for Charlotte and Atlanta. Central and south Florida too looks like a clearing trend during the afternoon for DC, but still some cloud cover across New York City and New England. Well, there's going to be some rain and that's going to keep delays there.

I'm about an hour into the Boston area because of the storm offshore as we head towards Chicago it looks like a strong southerly flow will warm things up there, but it looks like rainy weather across the central and northern portion of the Great Lakes in Wisconsin and Minneapolis-St Paul also looking at. Rainy weather, but dry in Chicago and mild. Dry weather but mild conditions in Texas. From Houston to Dallas-Fort Worth and Amarillo. West Coast Early fog and cloud cover just offshore. San Diego and LA will improve to some decent weather. Fair conditions in San Francisco and also dry in Oregon and in Seattle-Tacoma. I'm your moderator, steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great Saturday.
