Summer Heat Rising
Hi, this is BD Brown to Steve Pelletier and I'm the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom On your Monday. It is the second day of the month of June and we have some really beautiful weather heading up around the eastern seaboard A lot of wet weather for the month of May, from DC up to the Boston area, including New York City and Philadelphia. However, in here in the month of June we're starting off dry and it looks like it's going to be progressively warmer as we head towards Wednesday and Thursday. We're going to find temperatures into the 90s as we head towards Thursday and then upper-level low-pressure system that will move on through, maybe give us some shower action towards the end of the week and this upcoming first weekend, first full weekend of the month of June, coming up on Saturday and Sunday. In the meantime we've got a sunny day upcoming for today. Our highs will range up to about 70 to 75. Pretty nice for tonight, fair down to about the mid to upper 50s and with sunshine. Tomorrow, on Tuesday, highs will range between 80 and 85. So on Wednesday temperatures will range in the upper 80s, lower 90s. Of course warmer to the south, a little bit cooler up in the Boston area, but all still generally fair and then it's by Thursday. That's when we'll find those temperatures up close to the 90-degree mark and that's going to be pretty much everywhere, maybe 90 to 95, dc, baltimore and Philly, about 90 up in New York City. However, up in the Boston area in the mid to upper 80s, but even warming up there towards the end of the week as well.
Speaker 0:If you're flying on this Monday, it looks like good weather in Atlanta, charlotte, new York City, newark and LaGuardia. However, the Boston area has a little bit of cloud cover but nothing much weather-wise. It looks like it should be dry conditions there as well A little bit of early fog and some midday sun in the Chicago area. Looking at some dry conditions up in Minneapolis-Paint Paul. However, rain will be moving in during the evening and overnight. Dry conditions in Houston and down to Fort Worth. Rainy weather in central and south Florida, south of Okeechobee and down towards Fort Myers, and in the Naples, miami and Fort Lauderdale area it's probably going to have heavy thunderstorms during the afternoon hours. It does look dry for the west coast Most of the rain around four corners northward, up to Montana and the Dakotas. On this Monday afternoon I'm your Roger, steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Some pretty nice weather coming up for the eastern seaboard right up through Thursday. Hope you get to enjoy some of that nice weather outdoors. Take care, see you tomorrow.
