Speaker 1Hi , this is video out to Steve Pelletier and I'm the weatherman . Thanks for checking into the weatherman podcom on your Monday . It's the fourth day of the month of August 2025 . We had a beautiful weekend . Weather wise , temperatures , just about perfect across the northeast . Elsewhere across the nation was a different story , but in the northeast we had some great weather it C up to the Boston area . Looking at high temperatures 80s to the lower 90s it's only the lower 90s
Forecast for Boston and Northeast
Speaker 1in the cities . At night it'll be partly cloudy down to the middle 60s .
Speaker 1Tuesday's weather is looking mostly sunny , back up to near 90 , with light east winds causing a little bit of a cooler flow across the Jersey Shore and also on the beaches of Long Island and coastal Connecticut . But we are anticipating mostly cloudy skies from Tuesday night nighttime 067 . A little cold front moves through Wednesday sunshine , mid-80s . Thursday and Friday also 80 to 85 . Fair weather right in through next weekend as well .
Travel Conditions Across the Nation
Speaker 1If you are traveling on this Monday , as I mentioned , fair weather across the northeast , a little smoky across New England , but just mostly fair and VFR conditions in Boston and New York . No problems weather-wise for the New York area airports . If there's delays it's probably because of well , mostly volume entering around the area , looking at Philadelphia , washington DC and Richmond , all looking dry . Dry weather in Charlotte but looks like still some afternoon thunderstorms in Atlanta A good portion of the time , though not raining . Scattered afternoon thunderstorms in central and south Florida as well

Speaker 1A stationary front lies from central Texas along the Gulf Coast , louisiana , alabama , mississippi and Florida , then off the northern coast of Florida near Jacksonville . That area of low pressures that will be forming along that system from the west moving east , continue to keep those areas in clouds and showers . So showers in Houston and also in Dallas . West Coast , just smoky in LA and San Diego Dry weather in San Francisco , dry also in Portland and Seattle . Chicago at this point looking also generally fair but still a bit smoky . Across Minnesota there could be some afternoon rain showers cleansing the atmosphere .
