It looks like this weather trend is going to continue for a good balance of this week Across the Northeast Carter expecting skies to be generally fair and sunny during the daytime , clear to partly cloudy at night . Each day over the next several days you are going to have high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s , but nighttime low temperatures back to about 50 to 55 , and we're losing about a minute and a half of sunshine each

and every day . It's the beginning of meteorological autumn and that's because of the amount of sunshine that we do receive now well limited . The sun is sort of like the way that it is in early April and , with that in mind , your average temperatures are going to continue to fall over the next several days . We are looking at temperatures generally in the upper 70s lower 80s , but by the end of the week the possibility of some scattered showers . and southern Maine . We are looking at generally fair conditions for today , so no problems weather-wise flying in and out of those places . It's also dry and nice weather in Chicago , charlotte and Atlanta also doing pretty good . Central and South Florida still under the stationary front . That's been causing a lot of rainy weather across the Gulf Coast . Showers and some thunderstorms from Central and South Florida could delay some of your flights in and out of Miami and Fort Lauderdale , houston and Dallas-Fort Worth also some scattered late-day thunderstorms . Otherwise the heat continues . Dry weather in Minneapolis-St Paul . Dry conditions on the West Coast , san Diego , la , san Francisco , all the way up to Seattle and Tacoma . Over the next several days that dry condition will continue
