Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I'm the weatherman. Thanks for checking in to theweathermanpodcom on your Tuesday, 23rd day of the month of September in 2025. A month that's been fairly dry. We did have some rainy weather around the middle of last week, but it was dry pretty much before that and some early rains earlier in the month. But it has been dry. But it is all going to change. As a matter of fact, the chance of some showers lingers from tonight through Wednesday, thursday, even Friday, and into the Saturday.
Speaker 0:Weather, but with a clearing trend as high pressure starts to build in and the frontal system goes to our south. Temperatures will be cooler but with generally fair skies commencing this weekend into early next week. But for today, mostly sunny skies after some early haze and temperatures generally ranging 80 to 85, so above normal temperatures. Probability of rainfall for tonight will showers on thunderstorms down to about 60 to 65. Another weather forecast for DC, to the Boston area, calling for a good deal of clouds and some showers, possibly even a thunderstorms, with clouds and sun highs near 80 on Wednesday. A better chance of overcast conditions, showers and thunderstorms on Thursday 75. Then we get into a clearing trend for the mid-Atlantic coming up for later on this week and this weekend. If you're flying today and looking at a good amount of sunshine for Atlanta, maybe some late-day and evening showers and thunderstorms. Similar situation for Charlotte Dry weather for the New York area, but it does look like showers and thunderstorms will be moving in tonight.
Speaker 0:So if you have any connections or departing flights for tonight there could be some delays because of approaching weather. Central and South Florida also under clouds and some showers. Showers. In Houston also hot and muggy conditions. Late day thunderstorms. In Dallas-Fort Worth Rainy conditions. Ifr weather into Chicago may slow things down significantly there, and then dry weather from Seattle and Tacoma. It looks like San Francisco also dry, but possibility of some afternoon showers. Most of the time fair and dry. From San Diego to LA on the West Coast. I'm your manager, steve Pelletier, and I'm the weatherman. Have a great day today. Talk to you first thing tomorrow. See you then.
