Hi, this is Benny Ralder Steve Pelletier and I'm The Weatherman. Thanks for checking in to the Weathermanpod.com on your Tuesday. It is the 14th day of the month of October, 2025, and there's been a lot of action up along the eastern seaboard that uh nor'easter that continued to intensify and then redouble across the southern New Jersey Del Marva coast, uh, caused quite a bit of flooding. There was uh moderate to heavy flooding in most coastal communities that were prone to flooding uh from uh Monmouth County, southern Monmouth County, all the way down through Atlanta County and Cape May County in New Jersey, and also down much of the Del Marva Peninsula from Ray Hoboth south also to uh Ocean City, Maryland. Uh, possibility of some beach erosion and some flooding there. But basically, it was a South Jersey to uh central Jersey coast that uh really did get the brunt of this situation. And we're also seeing uh another high tide this evening, but the low pressure is starting to drift away, so hopefully some better weather coming our way over the next several days to uh get out of this East Coast storm that has hampered the region for the last 48 hours. So for today, it's gonna be uh clouds and sun, more sunshine off to the west, more cloud cover hanging in close to the coast and to the east and into southern New England as well. Temperatures will be on the cool side, basically in the middle to upper 60s. It looks like clouds at night down to 52. Better weather tomorrow on Wednesday. It'll be sunny, highest for the day. We'll reach the middle to upper 60s. At night, mostly clear 41. Thursday, sunshine 62. Friday and Saturday also looking sunny in the 60s to near 70 this upcoming weekend in most places across the Northeast. If you're traveling today, again, not a major situation for the New York area of Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C., the weather's actually improving during the daytime today, but could be still some residual delays that we've had uh from the last 24 to 48 hours. Sometimes they do extend into several days because uh everybody's trying to rebook flights. In the meantime, though, we've got generally dry conditions from uh New York City westward out to Cleveland, southward to Atlanta, Charlotte, much of Central and South Florida, dry, dry weather in Houston and Dallas, but it will be raining in Chicago and rain also in Minneapolis, St. Paul, with the next surge of high pressure building down from Canada. And some big storms across Nevada, sections of Utah, southern Idaho, and uh eastern portions of California, uh, where areas of rain have moved in from the ocean and now moving into the central Rockies over the next 24 to 36 hours. But some uh showers are possible in LA and San Diego and also in San Francisco. They've had some hefty rains, and now it looks like some slow, gradual improvement today, and uh drier conditions up in Portland and Seattle as well. I'm in your moderate, Steve Pelletier, and I'm the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Wednesday, mid month. Come it up. See you then.
