Friday Forecast For The East Coast
This is Midi Roger, Steve Pelletierina, the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. It looks like our weather situation for this Friday, 24th day of October, is showing generally fair conditions across the mid-Atlantic and into the northeast. However, as you get up into northwestern Pennsylvania, central and western New York State, and northward up to the Adirondacks. Vermont, New Hampshire, and sections of northern and western Massachusetts, there will be some cloud cover, and even the possibility of some sprinkles and showers during the afternoon hours. But for New York City, look for sunshine and some afternoon clouds, as we've seen the last few days, and high temperatures ranging between 55 and 60. Philadelphia in the lower 60s, Baltimore, D.C. also around 62, 63 for daytime. Highs, Richmond and down to Raleigh, and even down to Myrtle Beach. You're looking at some very nice weather with temperatures ranging into the upper 60s and near 70. Elsewhere, it does look like we are going to have some fair weather on Saturday, but there'll be some afternoon clouds, cold front moving down out of the Great Lakes. We'll bring some clouds during the afternoon, maybe a sprinkler shower in some spots west and north. Once again, temperatures only 55 to 60s. Generally dry on Saturday and on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday as well. But each day temperatures only in the 50s to lower 60s to the south. If you're traveling by air today, looking at good weather in Atlanta and Charlotte, also fine conditions in New York, LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark. Any delays there? Not because of the weather. Also looking at some pretty nice weather down at Tampa St. Pete, Jacksonville, and also down at West Palm, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. No problems into Fort Myers except for some afternoon thunderstorms. Generally fair at Newson and Dallas, Fort Worth, with some afternoon and heavy thunderstorms. Lots of severe weather over the western panhandle of Texas and out of the northern portion into Oklahoma. From Amarillo up to Oklahoma City, we're looking at the possibility of showers and thunderstorms developing during the afternoon hours today. Some delays flying into those places on later in the afternoon on Friday. And it may even linger into the weekend as well. Chicago's looking good. Dry weather in Minneapolis, St. Paul, dry in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, rainy weather, Portland, and Seattle today. I'm DM Just Steve Fellatier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. And talk to your first thing on Saturday. See you then.
