SPEAKER_00:

Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pellethiery, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Tuesday, 25th day in the month of November, 2025, and approaching the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend, commencing a late Wednesday with uh travel weather starting to show some improving conditions. We are going to have some rainy weather across the mid-Atlantic today and tonight, and then even on Wednesday, the possibility of some showers. We'll see a couple of frontal systems. First front, uh just about right now working its way into the Ohio Valley, second front and working its way out of Iowa. Lots of rain across the Great Lakes down into the Ohio Valley, western Pennsylvania, eastern sections of Kentucky and Tennessee, and even down to Alabama and Mississippi, but that frontal system will drift east. Warm front moving through will bring rainy weather for New York City. Its temperatures range into the mid-50s today. DC and the Baltimore area also occasional rain of 52 to 57 degrees in those places as well. Still some clouds and some showers, but not a heavier amount of rainfall tomorrow. It's the second cold front that will bring some clearing for the holiday weekend. So uh during the daytime on Wednesday, look for highs of 60 to 65. It does get warm. And then the cold front moves through sometime during the evening on Wednesday, a clearing trend. It looks like dry weather for Thanksgiving Day, and it looks like nice weather for Friday and Saturday as well. However, as we get towards the second half of the weekend, another area of low pressure will be approaching the possibility of some weather later Sunday and early next week. Looks like uh overcast in wet weather in New York area later in the day and at night. Cloud cover just making things marginally IFR by later today and tonight. But there will be a little bit of delays because of the weather. Up in Boston, looking pretty good for most portion of the day, except for rain tonight. DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia all showing occasional rain and showers for the afternoon and evening hours. As will Charlotte. Charlotte's looking at uh rainy conditions and also rain moving into Atlanta as well. Central and South Florida will be dry. Houston and Dallas looking also dry with the second front moving through Dallas, just a little bit of cloud cover and maybe a few showers. Uh in Chicago, the showers and second front moves through and it brings some colder weather. Looks like they've got some snow working its way into sections of Minnesota and the Dakotas. Well, that storm will stay to the north. And it looks like dry weather for LA, San Diego, and San Francisco, but rainy conditions up in Portland and Seattle by later today and tonight. And again, as mentioned, it does look like the Thanksgiving Day holiday starting off late in the night on Wednesday and early Thursday. If you're going to be traveling during those times, late night, early morning on Thanksgiving, you are looking at dry conditions and no major weather problems across the nation at that time. So I'm Meteorologist Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Wednesday. Oh look at that holiday once again then. See ya.
