Weekend Weather Outlook From Northeast Chill To Pacific Rain
Hi, this has been your brother, Steve Pelletier, and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpot.com on your Friday, fifth day of the month of December, 2025. And the weather across the northeast, fair and cold, colder than it should be for this time of year, but a little warm front will poke through, and that could give us some clouds and maybe some snow flurries in sections around Baltimore, Philadelphia, Central, and South Jersey. But further south from here, it looks like some rainy weather in central and eastern portions of the Carolinas, Virginia, and South Carolina, Georgia, all with clouds and the possibility of some rain from a series of low pressures along a frontal system from the central gulf right up through Jacksonville, then off the coast of Georgia and South Carolina. So it's going to be there during the daytime today. Also looking at another strong cold front working its way down out of the Great Lakes to cause quite a bit of snowfall in sections of Minnesota and Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. And that front will continue to move south and east into the Chicago area by the evening hours on Friday and early on Saturday. Elsewhere, still looks like some rain along the Texas Gulf Coast and rainy weather in Portland and Oregon now spilling into Idaho and western Montana, where it shows up as snow, especially in those higher elevations and the mountains. And even on the western plain states, it looks like the possibility of some snow developing for this upcoming weekend. If you're traveling today, looking at fair weather in the New York area, Boston also looking pretty good. Chicago generally dry today, but it could be some snow showers and squalls tonight and tomorrow. Rainy weather in Atlanta, but most of it to the south and east. Looks like some showers in Charlotte. Jacksonville having rain. Rain in New Orleans and also in Houston. Dallas should be dry, dry in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. But as mentioned, it looks like rainy weather once again in Portland and Oregon today. For the Northeast, look for your Friday to show temperatures of about 40 to 45. Maybe those snow flurries passing through tonight. And then it looks like fair weather for both Saturday and Sunday. Each day highs, upper 30s, low to mid forties, nighttime lows in the 20s. A typical early winter's day or weekend for this upcoming first weekend in December. I'm Eddie Montes, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Saturday. See you then.
