SPEAKER_00:

Hi, this is Midian, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpod.com on your Saturday. It is the third day of the month of January 2026. And looks like the temperature trend is still staying below normal. Normal high should be around the middle to upper 30s, and we're well below that. Only a high today, ranging up between 30 and 35. We'll have sunshine to start, then it'll increase in clouds. A little warm front poking through tonight, then a cold front later will give us the possibility of some snow showers. When these things come down from the northwest, we've had one on uh the morning hours on New Year's Day, and around 6 to 9 o'clock in the morning moved right across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Long Island, even down as far south as Delmar. But similar situation coming up again for tonight. However, it does not look like it's going to be so strong, but still the possibility of a little dusting or coating of snowfall. But then we get into some dry weather for Sunday. Overnight lows today, first time high temperatures 30 to 35, down to about 23 to 28 tonight with that chance of some snow showers. And Sunday, some early clouds, then becoming sunny up to 36. Monday, mostly cloudy, 32. A little warm up front, a little warming around midweek. Tuesday in the 40s. It looks like a mostly cloudy day. Might be some rain at night down to about the mid-30s. But every time you have some rain at night, there's always a possibility of a little icing. So we'll be watching that as the week continues. Then on Wednesday, partial sunshine all the way up to 50. Same thing for Thursday near 50. Back to a chance of some rain for Thursday night and Friday, even Saturday of this upcoming weekend. Looks like the possibility of some rain about uh good seven days from today. If you're traveling by air today, our forecast for the New York area looking dry. We've got good weather. Norwork LaGuardia, JFK also good in Philadelphia, Baltimore and D.C. also looking pretty good. Some rainy weather moving into the Charlotte area, just about all of North and South Carolina, with some rain as a series of low pressures move along the Gulf Coast. Looks like a clearing out in Atlanta, but it will be raining in Jacksonville. Also some scattered showers in South Florida. Fort Myers looking okay, but Miami down to the Keys, looking at the possibility of some late-day rains. Fair skies in Houston and Dallas. Looks like good weather in Chicago, the upper peninsula of uh Michigan still with lots of snow as that northwest flow continues across there. All the southern shores of Lake Superior, eastern shores of northern Lake Michigan, and Lake Huron have those lake effect snow squalls still in effect. However, looks like they'll be diminishing over the next several days as the cold air starts to break down just a bit. So Chicago's looking good. Minneapolis, St. Paul also looking generally fair. A little bit of snow showers there, but it looks like an improving flow. West Coast, rainy weather, rains from San Diego to LA, all up to San Francisco, with some scattered showers in Portland, more rainy weather. Moving in to Seattle, Tacoma today. I'm in your Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Sunday. See you then.
