Hi, this is Middle Brother Steve Pellethiery and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Sunday, 15th day of the month of February. Actually, the halfway mark was yesterday. Seeing we have 28 days in this month of February. And uh so far, on average, the uh temperatures are about eight to ten degrees below normal. Because we had uh very cold conditions for the first half of the month. Does look like we're gonna be at or slightly above normal for a good balance of this month, but of course we have a storm passing to our south. Mid-Atlantic states say Virginia's and the Carolina is probably going to get some rain as the storm goes by overnight, Sunday into Monday. However, just touching to the north, uh, say from about the PA turnpike northward from there and into the east to the PA extension up towards Wilkes Bar and Scranton. Uh that's probably going to get somewhere between one and three inches of snowfall, also across I-95 from just around central Mercer County, uh central Bucks County in Pennsylvania, across through uh southern portions of Huntington, Somerset, and into Middlesex County, and then eventually into New York City and the island. You're going to see between one and three inches snow, probably between about 9 p.m. Sunday evening and about 6 a.m. on Monday morning. Once that goes on through, just a little bit of lingering cloud cover, and we should get into a clearing trend for Monday afternoon. But as mentioned, uh temperatures will get up to 40 on Sunday, uh, go down to about 25 to 30 with that snowfall at night. Again, central and southern New Jersey, probably as you go further south, south of 195 from uh about northern Freehold, uh, cross in through northern Monmouth County and anywhere south of that, it's probably gonna go a little bit of snow over to some rain, rainy conditions in South Jersey. Uh, but uh looks like some snow across the northeastern sections of Monmouth County and Middlesex County, of course, into the island as well. And that'll be on Sunday night, early Monday. Then uh looks like fair weather for Tuesday. Wednesday clouding up, another storm will be arriving, but this time it'll be in a form of rain. Looking at highs on Wednesday up to about 44. Thursday's highs could get up to near 50, and then uh back to still a chance of some rain on Friday and Saturday with temperatures at or above normal towards the end of this week. So we're gonna be breaking down that uh below normal temperature trend that we've had so far for this month of February. Pretty decent day for today on this Sunday, clouds on the increase. Any snow that we have will be during the evening and overnight tonight. Now, if you're traveling by air today, that storm that's gonna be bringing snow to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, actually uh mostly central and northern New Jersey, northeast in PA, southern New York, and southern New England. It's gonna be rain across through Atlanta, and it's gonna be raining also in Charlotte. It will be causing some delays there. Raining also in D.C., Baltimore, and in Dulles. And we're also seeing some rainy weather at Savannah, but it does look dry and central in South Florida. Also dry in Houston and Dallas, dry weather in Chicago and also Minneapolis, St. Paul. West Coast, another area, low pressures moving in. That's gonna arrive on the east sometime on Wednesday. That'll bring some rainy weather for Los Angeles, all the way up to San Francisco, and possibly some heavy rains too as that storm moves in, centered up by San Francisco and Northern California, and also the possibility of some showers in Portland and Seattle. So some delays getting into San Francisco with that heavy weather later in the day on Sunday. I'm in your router, Steve Fellethier and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a good holiday Monday, good Sunday and holiday Monday. Tomorrow is uh Washington's birthday. That's the official name of it. It's been that way for a long time. Uh popularly, it's called President's Day because it basically celebrates all the presidents. But the official name is Washington's birthday, a federal holiday. Hope you enjoy and looking forward to a warmer week upcoming. But we are going to have that little area of snow in New York City on Sunday night, early Monday. Talk to you first thing tomorrow. Take care.
