Hi, this is Meteor Roger Steve Pelletieran. I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPond.com on your Wednesday, 18th day, the month of February, 2026. And we've had some mild weather. Yesterday started off with some clouds, and then we got into sunshine and temperatures in many places, but into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Now, we're gonna have a lot of cloud cover over the next several days. Those storms moving into the west coast and go across the continent, start to dry out just a bit. Then they tap some of the moisture out of the Gulf and the eastern seaboard, and then they redevelop in the east. But sometimes redevelopment's a little bit further to the east. So we'll have a cloudy day today. Possibility of some occasional light rain or drizzle. That'll be in the afternoon and evening. Or highs will reach to about the mid-40s for the most part. And at night, rain drizzle and some fog, mostly just clouds, drizzle, and fog. Overnight low temperatures down to the mid to upper 30s, near 40 degrees in the city and Philly. Daytime on Thursday. Look for an overcast day. Highs will reach to about 41. Again, a chance of some showers at night down to 35, but a steadier rain is likely on Friday. Friday's high temperature is 44. And then if we look into the weekend, we're gonna have to watch the development of a big storm along the eastern seaboard. Say late on Sunday and early Monday. Could involve rain, also some sleet and some snow. All depends on positioning of that storm after it reaches the eastern seaboard. So we'll have more to say on that as the weekend continues. But for the most part, next few days, temperatures above normal by a degree or two, and an increasing chance of some much needed rainfall. If you're flying today, areas of rainfall and some cloud cover across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast will keep our skies cloudy. Not major weather for New York, Nagoya, JFK, or Newark, but uh it will slow things down just a bit, not much. And up in the Boston area, even the possibility of some snow and rain. That always causes some problems because it causes icing in the lower atmosphere. And a lot of times they have to separate the aircraft a little bit farther than normal, and that causes delays. Good weather down in Atlanta, but uh still a chance of some showers in Charlotte and Central and South Florida all looking dry, dry in Houston and Dallas. Chicago is also on the dry side, but major area of low pressure is going to cause some blizzard conditions into the Minnesota area. So for Minneapolis, St. Paul, check with your carrier. Maybe delays or cancellations going into there because of the winter storm working into central and northern Minnesota and the eastern Dakotas. And uh Rockies looks like lots of snow across the mountains are you heard of some of the tremendous amounts of snow that they had at uh maybe Donner Pass in the Sierra Nevada of California, some places up to eight feet of snow and uh rainy conditions along the coast. But it does look like it's still going to be some rainy weather in San Francisco, a chance of showers in LA and San Diego, and still some more rainy weather in Portland and in Seattle. I'm Divine Justine Fellethier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on Thursday. See you then.
