Hi, this is Bidi Rollinger Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpod.com on your Monday, second day of the month of March, 2026. And uh looks like we've had clear conditions yesterday. We started off the first day of the month with a few snow showers across New York State, northern New Jersey, northeastern Pennsylvania, and even moved across Long Island and northern portions of New York City and all of coastal Connecticut. But now quickly off to the east, and now we've got a pretty good day coming up for Monday. We'll start off with uh some clouds, give way to some sunshine, and our temperatures generally uh below normal in the middle 30s, should be in the middle forties this time of year. But uh does look like a chance of some snow during the overnight as a low pressure system arrives from the Midwest. Now it comes up from the uh Tennessee Valley, Central Mississippi River Valley. You're gonna get more of a south-southeast flow, and that means eventual warming. This is one day, however, one and a half days after a cold front moves through. So there will be a little bit of snow involved just for a while. Then I'll change over to some uh freezing rain or even some sleet and then uh over to rainy weather. That'll be on Tuesday. Tuesday's high is near 40. Could be maybe a coating to an inch or so of that slushy accumulation before it changes over. But then uh as we head towards Tuesday night and Wednesday, we're into a milder flow, chance of rain, temperatures mid to upper 30s, and not real mild as then, but it will get warmer. Uh on Wednesday, highs will range to near 50 with some occasional rain, mainly in the morning hours. And even on Thursday, a chance of some rain. Temperatures on Thursday could have up to a 60 to 65, so above normal conditions by Thursday of this week, but all week with the possibility of some rain, mid-Atlantic and Northeast. And it looks like even the possibility of some rain on Friday. Friday's highs 52. This upcoming weekend, uh still mild on Saturday in the 60s, and a lot of cloud cover and a possibility of some rain arriving Saturday night and Sunday. So you can see we're going to go into a warm flow, and there's going to be a lot of melting snow piles across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast over the next several days. Now, if you're traveling by air today, looks like some fair weather for your Monday in the New York Philadelphia area. We're going to have uh generally just cloud cover to partly sunny weather. So no problems weather-wise getting into there. Boston's looking pretty good, as does Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul. The problem's going to be down around Baltimore and D.C. where there will be some rain. Rain also in Richmond and also in Charlotte. Atlanta, probably just cloud cover. Central and South Florida. It's been dry there, but looks like the possibility of some rain south of Lake Okeechobee down to Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach and even the Keys. However, it looks like dry weather in Houston and Dallas Fort Worth, dry in LA, San Diego, San Francisco, just some drizzle and fog, but looks like some rainy weather in Portland, rainy weather moving into Seattle, Tacoma, expected for later today and tonight. I've been your model, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day. Today looks like a very warm week coming up after some chilly start, maybe a little bit of snow overnight, and then over to some freezing rain, then into rain, and then mild temperatures. It'll be in the 60s by the end of this week. Hope you have a good one. Talk to your first thing on Tuesday. See you then.
