Hi, this is Midi Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Wednesday, fourth day of the month of March 2026. And we've got areas of rainfall over the nation's midsection and extending from central Texas all the way up through Missouri, eastward through Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, the Tennessee Valley, the Ohio Valley, and into the Virginias and even into southern Pennsylvania and southern sections of New Jersey. You might get a little bit of breaks and some sun in the northeast, from northern New Jersey all the way up into New England, but the cloud cover will win out and we'll have more rain overnight tonight and during the daytime tomorrow. But a slow, gradual, mild up temperatures for today, generally ranging in the upper 40s, close to 50. It'll be in the 50s later Thursday, Friday, and even into the 60s, Saturday and Sunday of this upcoming weekend from uh central Virginia all the way up into southern sections of Maine. It's gonna be very warm this upcoming weekend. But we still have that possibility of some showers, especially on Friday into early Saturday, but then a little bit of drier weather for Sunday. It looks like the best day of the weekend is first weekend when we return to Eastern daylight time. It's gonna be quite nice. A lot of melting snow piles across the northeast, but that is something that uh we will be dealing with as we get into this upcoming weekend. But in the meantime, uh, if you are flying today, it looks like decent weather in the New York area, airports, North Lobardia, JFK, and even out nice slip north up to Boston. Weather's looking pretty good. Uh Philly, we'll have some showers, but nothing major, not low ceilings or visibility, so just uh regular uh marginal VFR conditions or even some IFR weather into Baltimore and DC because of the rainy weather. And rainy conditions will continue to keep uh the D.C. Mid-Atlantic area in uh marginal VFR to IFR weather, which means some light to moderate delays during the daytime on Thursday and even into Friday morning, but it does look decent for this weekend. Uh Atlanta's looking good. Charlotte's looking good, no problem weather-wise there. Central Florida, some much-needed rain showers, but nothing much in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Looks like some rain in Houston and Dallas Fort Worth. Showers also up in the Chicago area. It's warm there, and they're having a little bit of rain, but strong cold front working its way down into central Minnesota. It's going to put them back into chill by later in the day today and tomorrow. And the West Coast, dry in LA and San Diego. Looks like some showers in San Francisco, but rainy weather in Portland and Seattle today, like the moderate delays in the Pacific Northwest. I'm in your monster, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Hope have a great day today, and we'll talk to you first thing on Thursday. See you then.
