Warm Start And Today’s Forecast

SPEAKER_00

Hi, this is Middle Ralder Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking in to the weathermanpod.com on your Monday. It's the ninth day, the month of March 2026. Almost a third of the way through this month, and it started off a bit on the chilly side, but really it's starting to warm up quite a bit across the mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. Skies will be sunny for the daytime today, with our temperatures in the upper 60s, lower 70s. At night, mostly clear down to about 40 to 45. Plenty of sunshine for Tuesday. Tuesday's Heisel range in the 70s again, 70 to 75, and that's really well above normal, uh, close to 15 degrees above normal for the day. At night, mostly clear down to about 50. That'll be the nighttime low. That's even a little bit above the normal daytime high for this time of year. And Wednesday, mostly cloudy. There's a possibility of some showers, 74. Then we go back to the possibility of some rain or snow showers in many communities across the northeast. That'll be on Thursday, with temperature starting out near 60, but then dropping back down to 32 at night. High pressure builds in with some colder weather for Friday into the early portion of the weekend. In the meantime, for today, plenty of sun as our highs reach the upper 60s and lower 70s. Now, if you're traveling by air today, still a little area of low pressure just off the coast of Virginia and North Carolina, causing some rain there. Also rainy weather across the southern Mississippi River Valley, including the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, East Texas, Mississippi, and sections of Alabama. And that area is going to be drifting eastward over the next couple of days. It does look like uh weather continues wet across the Pacific Northwest, snowy across Montana and northern Idaho and western sections of North Dakota, but in the east, basically dry and nice weather. So no problems in New York, Norwich LaGuardia, JFK, or Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C., all looking good weather-wise. Good weather flying into Boston today. No problems expected, no problems in Chicago, Minneapolis. There is the light-scattered shower action just off of Daytona Beach, but further south, a southern portion of the Florida Peninsula will be dry. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm all looking pretty good, as does Fort Myers. And out in the Gulf Coast, we do see some rain in Houston and Dallas, Fort Worth, but on the light side. West Coast showing the possibility of some showers in San Diego, LA, some cloud cover, maybe some early sprinkles of showers, mainly to the south. And then as we head towards San Francisco, it's dry but rainy weather, as mentioned in Portland and Seattle again today. I'm your model just Steve Pelletier, and I am the weather man. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Tuesday. See you then.
