Welcome And Date Stamp
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Midian Roger Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPot.com on your Wednesday. It's the 18th day of the month of March 2026. And look at the weather charts for today finally shows some relatively tranquil weather. Still looks like some snow up around Sault Ste. Marie. That's right in the center of Lake Superior, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan, where they all meet. And also some snow across the UP of Michigan, but it's on the lighter side, not like the storm for the past couple of days. South Florida from about west palm southward all the way down to Miami and even into the Keys will have some occasional rain and showers. Looks like a little area of low pressure forming just north of Cuba, probably just to the western Bahamas. That'll slowly drift eastward. Also looking at uh some slight showers across Kentucky and Tennessee, and some rain across the Pacific Northwest and Portland and Seattle, but that's fairly normal for this time of year. Also, some rain in northern Idaho, western Montana. But outside of that, no major areas of low pressure, so high pressure will be the main feature. And that means that good weather for the mid-Atlantic and Northeast Carter today is our skies will be sunny, but temperatures will be cool, 40 to 45, a little bit cool for this time of year. It should be up to about 48-50. That will be happening on Thursday. Again, sunshine with highs of 45 to 50. And then on Friday, partly sunny. Might be some showers off to the west and to the north. However, it looks like generally fair skies for Friday as temperatures reach back up into the lower 50s. Now, if you're flying by air today, it looks like great weather in Atlanta and in Charlotte. Decent conditions in D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Mark, LaGuardia, JFK, all looking pretty good. Light winds, no problems weather-wise, at least getting into there. I know TSA is having some problems because of the shutdown. And looking at uh the uh Boston area and even southern New England, all generally fair skies, big area, high pressure right over those places. High pressure means fair weather at Houston and Dallas. Also Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul, just uh tranquil weather finally for those folks. Looks like good weather in San Diego, LA, and San Francisco. And as I mentioned earlier, it looks like rain in Portland and Seattle today. I've been your mind, Justine Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing tomorrow. See you then.
