Host Welcome And Date
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is BD Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking in to the WeathermanPond.com on your Thursday, 19th day of the month of March 2026. The weather is still relatively tranquil across the nation. We do see some snow in upper portion of New York State, central and northern uh Vermont, and sections also around Maine. But for the most part, just rain across Ohio, western Pennsylvania, some showers across southern Florida and the Pacific Northwest, still with their rainy weather in Portland and all the way up to Seattle, Tacoma. Now, in the meantime, for the mid-Atlantic and a northeast, our weather today is going to be pretty good. A little bit warmer than yesterday. Highs will range between 40 and 45. Expect sunshine. At night is going to be fair to partly cloudy. At nighttime, low temperatures holding about the upper 20s, north and west to about the mid-30s along the coast and at the eastern city. And we're looking at a warmer trend as we head towards Friday, but there'll be an increase in clouds. Friday's high temperatures are expected to range generally near 50. And some rain likely for Friday night into early Saturdays. Showers and we get into a little bit of a clearing trend for the first half of the weekend, back to some clouds. Second half of the weekend on Sunday, but temperatures will be milder into this weekend. Now, if you're flying by air today, it looks like, as mentioned, relatively tranquil weather conditions across the nation. Problems at area airports or at the nation's airports actually is not going to be because of the weather. It's mainly because of TSA problems and manpower. That has been slowing things down tremendously. But the problem is that airlines are pretty much on time. So even though it's tough to get to the gate, you uh still have the flights doing fairly well. Good weather in Chicago and Minneapolis, St. Paul, decent conditions in Charlotte, no problems that whatsoever. The busiest airport in the world, Atlanta Hartsfield. And looking at uh Houston and Dallas Fort Worth, pretty actually pretty nice weather down there. We're expecting a little bit extra cloud cover, but temperatures on a warm side. Fair and warm San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, a little bit cooler, but it looks like that rainy conditions up in the Pacific Northwest at Seattle, as mentioned. So it looks like pretty good decent weather for your Thursday and Friday, maybe some rain Friday night. Much of the nation under generally tranquil conditions on this Thursday. Hope you have a good day. I'm Edible, Steve Fellatier. Talk to you first thing tomorrow. See you then.
