Welcome And Today’s Date
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Mid Your Ralder, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpod.com. On your Sunday, it is the 29th day of the month of March 2026. Month of March that in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast varies temperature-wise, it's all above normal for the most part. How much above normal? That depends on where you're at. Uh we're looking at uh the ice lip area and Bridgeport showing about one to two degrees above normal. But you also have about two degrees above normal in Central Park, about four down at Philly and Baltimore, and Atlantic City at two degrees above normal. And it looks like in the Newark area, it's always a little bit warmer there than everywhere else. 4.5 degrees above normal as of this date, and that probably will vary because of the temperatures on Saturday, Sunday, and of course Monday and Tuesday, the last few days of this month. But it has been above normal. This breaks the three-month trend of below normal conditions of December, January, and February. It was a brutal winter. And now in the month of March, as we see temperatures on the upside, pretty good weather coming up for today. Now not as cold as yesterday. Good amount of sunshine or high temperatures for today are range between 55 and 60, or the lower 60s in Philly and Baltimore. Looks like mostly cloudy skies on Sunday night down to 42. Monday, partly sunny, mid to upper 60s could touch 70. Tuesday, even though there is a chance of some showers for the last day of the month, highs could range between 75 and 80 degrees. Similar situation as we open up April on Wednesday. A chance of showers and very mild weather to start the new month. Now, if you're traveling by air today, big area of high pressure right off the Virginia and Carolina coast continues to give us nice weather, gradually milder today, and also on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and even through the midweek, even though there will be an increase in chance of showers. But it looks dry in the New York City area, dry up in Boston, rain showers, central and south Florida. That includes Tampa, St. Pete, down to Fort Myers, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm. All will have some scattered afternoon thunderstorms with a stationary front across the southern Florida peninsula. Looks like some rain in New Orleans, too. Dry in Houston and Dallas, warm too. And Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul, both places looking very dry. Dry in LA and San Francisco. Rain has finally moved back into Portland and Seattle today. No major problems weather wise, aviation wise, getting in and out of hub airports across the nation. But that should change as we get into the middle portion of the weekend. Some milder weather really starts to pump up from the Gulf. I've been your mind, just Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. And we'll talk to you first thing on Monday. See you then.
