Welcome And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this has been your monster, Steve Pelleterian. I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com. On your Monday, it is the 30th day of the month of March 2026. The day today looks like our temperatures will be moderating somewhat, and there's a slight chance of some showers moving in later in the day at night, especially from Philadelphia and Baltimore northward up into the coastal New Jersey, New York City, and Long Island. Southern portions of Connecticut and much of New England will also have that possibility of some showers, but probably holding off a little bit later on as our high pressure starts to move just offshore. It's a southwesterly flow. That'll cause temperatures to be milder today than the middle 60s. But still the chance of some showers tonight is a frontal system almost stationary across the region. And that will gradually move further north and temperatures will moderate quite a bit. Last day of the month on Tuesday, expecting highs in the 70s, and in some spots, even up to near 80, we'll have partial sunshine, but there is a chance of a shower or a thunderstorm, especially later in the day and at night. Only a 30% chance most of the time it will be dry and rain free on Tuesday and milder. That milder flow will continue into Wednesday. Clouds and sunshine all the way up to 80 to 85 degrees in many places, well above normal for this time of year, starting off April on the mild side on April 1st. And looks like Thursday there's a possibility of some rain. It starts to cool back a bit closer to normal, 55 to 60, still a little bit above normal, and some rainy weather on Friday and Saturday. As temperatures both days range in the 50s to the lower 60s. Now, if you're traveling by air today, scattered ash-related showers and some thunderstorms are a possibility across much of the eastern portion of Kentucky, southern Ohio, and West Virginia. Just some lighter showers in New York, North LaGuardia, but it pretty much looks okay. No major weather problems for the New York area airports, Philadelphia and Baltimore either, but there will be some scattered showers, especially later in the day. Boston's looking dry. Charlotte also looking dry, dry in Atlanta, but heavy showers and some isolated thunderstorms, Central and South Florida, from Tampa, St. Pete down to Fort Myers, around to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Northwood up to West Palm, and Daytona. A chance of some scattered showers, some thunderstorms will be with us during the afternoon. Some rainy weather in New Orleans, and looks like Houston and Dallas will be dry, dry in Chicago, and also in Minneapolis, St. Paul. Generally fair conditions in LA and San Francisco. Looks like the showers are ending in Portland. Looks like dry but cloudy weather moving in to Portland and some clearing for Seattle, Tacoma with near normal temperatures over the next couple of days. I'm Middle Montgost Philip Tiery and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on it. Last day of the month on Tuesday. See you then.
