Quick Welcome And Setup
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Middle Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the weathermanpod.com on your Friday. It's the third day of the month of April, 2026, and our weather picture at this point shows a stationary front right across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Dense fog and drizzle during the overnight hours will slowly, gradually lift as the day wears on. And we are expecting some sunshine, especially in the mid-Atlantic and up to about New York City. Maybe that's cloud cover will linger up into the Boston area because the frontal system's moving that way very slowly. But uh for the most part, we'll have temperatures ranging into the 70s after a chilly Thursday. Looks like partly cloudy conditions for tonight. Nighttime lows back into the 40s to near 50. Now, Saturday's weather starts off with generally fair skies, but then we get into uh some clouds and maybe even some thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. That's not the main feature. A strong frontal system will be arriving on Sunday, Easter Sunday, with a good chance of some rain that'll probably linger into the afternoon, but then we get into a clearing gen. High pressure starts to build in, should give us some good weather for Monday and Tuesday of next week. Again, temperatures today, middle 70s, with some clearing or improving weather during the afternoon. Uh might be some late day or evening thunderstorms on Saturday, but most of the time dry after some early clouds 74. An overcast day for Sunday, and then clearing skies and more seasonable weather for Monday and early Tuesday of next week. Now, if you're traveling by air today, it looks like the weather situation starts off in the early going with low clouds and uh ceilings in the New York LaGuardia JFK area, but eventually that will slowly gradually lift. And it probably will take a while until the afternoon. So there could be some uh light to moderate delays in the New York area airport, similar down in Philly and down in the Wilmington and Baltimore area. But it should be improving quickly down in D.C. and Dulles and down in Richmond and Charlotte is looking pretty good weather-wise. Fair skies in Atlanta, scattered showers in central and south Florida, but nothing much. Looks like some rain for use until some Gulf moisture comes in, but Dallas, afternoon thunderstorms, clearing skies for Chicago and Minneapolis, St. Paul, although some sections of southwestern Minnesota will have some locally severe weather and even the possibility of some colder conditions across the Dakotas and northern Montana. West Coast is dry from LA, San Diego up to San Francisco after some early fog, and it looks like just some scattered light showers in Seattle, Tacoma through the afternoon and evening today. I'm in your mountain, Steve Fellaterian, I'm the weatherman. Hope have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Saturday. See you then.
