Hi, this has been your Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPow.com on your Saturday, fourth day of the fourth month of 2026. Looks like our weather situation for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast still being affected by a frontal system is almost stationary. It lies across the Ohio Valley right up through the Delmar Peninsula into southern New Jersey and just to the east and southeast of Long Island. That means that with the frontal system moving to the north, we get into a little bit of a warmer flow. To the south, we get into a wet and cooler flow, and that's basically what we've had over the last five days. Today's weather starts off with clouds. Now, during the afternoon, we'll have some sunny times, but still a lot of cloud cover may not be as good as the weather situation during the lighter afternoon on Friday because we have a weather front approaching from the west. High temperatures today, 70 to 75, although winds will be out of the east at around 5 to 10 miles per hour during the afternoon. That could make it a little bit cooler along the Jersey shore. So uh if you are going to the coast, uh make sure that you pack that extra spring jacket because it will be on the cooler side there. Now there's a possibility of some showers at night with nighttime lows down to about 46. And on Easter Sunday, it looks like some rain, especially in the morning into the early or mid-afternoon. Well, depends on the movement of that frontal system through. High temperatures, 60s to near 70 with showers. And for Sunday night, skies become partly cloudy. A cold front moves through and temperatures drop back down into the upper 30s and lower 40s. It'll be a sunny, but more seasonable day on Monday, with our high temperatures ranging in the 50s, near 60, mostly sunny, only about 50 to 55 for Tuesday, and sunshine also low 50s expected for the midweek period. So it does look like some dry weather, although by Tuesday afternoon evening, a little bit of uh unstable air off could make for some extra clouds and maybe even some rain showers off to the west and northwest Tuesday afternoon and also on Wednesday afternoon, although we get into a little bit of a milder flow as we head towards the end of the week, back into the 60s on Thursday, lower 70s on Friday of next week. Now, if you're flying by air today, taking airliner uh from the New York North area, we do have some cloud cover. Could be a few light delays expected for those places. However, it looks like for the most part the heavier delays will be on Sunday when that frontal system will be in the vicinity, and there will be some areas of showers and thunderstorms associated with that front as it moves on through. But for the daytime today, just uh light, if any, uh weather delays for the New York and Philadelphia area airports. Baltimore, D.C. also looking pretty good. Good weather down in Charlotte, although there could be some late day showers, nothing major, nothing major also in the Atlanta area, although uh rainy conditions are expected there as that weather front continues to move eastward. Uh central and south Florida basically okay. Could be some scattered showers. Rainy conditions in both Dallas and Houston, so there will be some delays getting into there. Chicago, a clearing trend. Minneapolis, St. Paul, some rain and maybe even some snow showers. It's got some very cold weather starting to work its way down into central Minnesota there. West Coast looking dry, LA, San Francisco, even up Portland and Seattle. The weather looks pretty good on the West Coast on your Saturday. I'm Eddie Roger, Steve Pelleterian. I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you up first thing on Sunday, Easter Sunday. See you then.
