Hi, this is Meteor Moller Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking in to the WeathermanPod.com on your Tuesday. It's the seventh day of the month of April 2026. And weather situations turned a little bit cool across the mid-Altantic and the Northeast. See another frontal system working its way across the area, and it's uh it's gonna bring us another cool day today, and even the possibility of some sprinkles or showers that may even show up as some snow showers across the finger lakes and sections of upper portion of the Adirondacks of New York State and into central and northern New England. However, as this frontal system goes further offshore, we are going to get into some dry weather and progressively milder conditions that will last towards the end of this week. So our forecast for the most part on this Tuesday, calling for skies to be partly sunny, or high temperatures for the day generally ranging up to about 50 to 55. And there could be a few light sprinkles or showers during the afternoon, but most of the time it'll be dry and rain free in most places too. Then it will be clear tonight and it gets down below freezing. That's why you don't plant a lot of things early in the month of April in these parts, especially north of Philadelphia, because the temperatures in many places can go down to the frost mark, uh still up until about the 7th to 15th. And then mostly clear skies about 29 to 34. Now, Wednesday's weather's calling for sunshine, temperatures back up to near 50, still cooler than normal for this time of year. Normal high should be around 54, 55. Mostly clear at night down to 31. Second night in a row, they're gonna have temperatures around the freezing mark. And Thursday's looking mostly sunny, 58. Friday, here's where it starts to really warm up. Sunshine in the upper 60s, slower 70s, highs ranging into 70 to 75 both Saturday and Sunday, although maybe a little bit cooler in some coastal spots on Sunday in the 60s, but still a little bit above normal as we head to this upcoming weekend. So generally dry weather over the next several days, except for that possibility of a few sprinkles or showers on Tuesday. And then we get into some dry and progressively milder conditions towards the end of the week. If you're traveling by air today, set up on a weather chart shows that the frontal system's moving through and it's going to cause some cloud cover today across the New York area. Might be a sprinkle or shower, but nothing much. But you'll look my temperatures generally ranging in the upper 40s, lower 50s, and a light to moderate delays because of some stronger winds than some of that weather in New York, New York LaGuardia, JFK. Up in the Boston area looks like overcast and rainy conditions. As mentioned up in central and northern New England, there may even be some snow. But it does look like dry weather in D.C. and Baltimore. Dry also in Charlotte and Atlanta. Showers and thunderstorms in Central and South Florida could cause some delays in the southern Florida peninsula during this afternoon and this evening. Dry weather in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, dry but windy in the Chicago area. Also dry but on the colder side, but starting to warm up a bit in Minneapolis, St. Paul. Looking at fair conditions in LA, San Francisco, so dry in the Seattle Tacoma area and Portland for most of today. High pressure building in from the Pacific Northwest means some pretty good weather for them for the next several days as well. I'm Eddie Walter, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Wednesday, midweek. See you then.
