Greeting And Friday Setup

SPEAKER_00

This has been your brother, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPond.com on your Friday. It's the tenth day of the month of April, third of the way through already. And uh we're looking at a pretty good day today. It looks like uh really chilly start once again. We'll have uh a good deal of clouds and sunshine too. Temperatures will range all the way up to 70 degrees. Now there will be some clouds moving in tonight. Looks like some showers probably across northern Pennsylvania, central, and northern New York State and into New England. But for the most part, across the mid-Atlantic from New York City, southward up to around the Philly and DC area, just looking for early clouds to give way to some sun as the highs get to near 70. Then some clouds at night, and then Saturday looks like sunshine in the mid-60s. Northwest winds, a little frontal system poking through, but not a really strong cold front. As a matter of fact, nighttime low is down near 41, much warmer than it has been so far these last few days. And uh then on Sunday, sunshine 63, and here's where it gets warmer. Monday up to near 80, 80 to 85 on Tuesday. And some of the projects are looking at the possibility of record high temperatures on Wednesday with partial sunshine all the way into the mid to upper 80s. So quite a bit of warm weather uh expected to come up this week, and you're gonna see hell the leaves popping off the trees, and they haven't started already. You start to see those buds in most places, but uh the trees will be coming alive, the worms and the gardens will also start to uh get going as we get into that very warm weather around the middle of next week. Now, if you're traveling by air today, by around the middle portion of Friday, looking at fair conditions in New York, LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark, also down in Philly, Baltimore and DC, no problems there, BWI or DCA. And uh looking at good weather up in the Boston area, too. Looks like dry in Charlotte, dry in Atlanta, which of central and south Florida is finally drying out. That's a lot of rainfall this week, but now starting to dry out a bit. Uh does look like more rainy weather and some uh heavy downpours expected for both Houston and Dallas Fort Worth. Frontal system moves by Chicago, so they'll be getting into a clearing trend, fair and cool in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. West Coast still showing that rainy weather across a good portion of California. Might be some showers in Los Angeles, dry in San Diego, but rainy weather will continue in San Francisco. Looking at some rain in Portland, but uh just some scattered showers up around the Seattle Tacoma area today. If you're flying on Saturday, just looking at some trouble spots, we do see lots of rainfall across the nation's midsection. Also, that rainy weather does continue over a good balance of Texas and over the West Coast. The dry weather continues over the East Coast, so no problem. Chicago, New York, and Atlanta. I've been your Steve Fellatier. I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Saturday. See you then.
