Host Intro And Date
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Vini Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeatherMedPond.com on your Saturday, 11th day of the month of April, 2026. And it looks like our weather situation for today and the next several days is going to be quite nice and gradually milder. We do see a little warm front poking through maybe on Monday. Could result in a few light showers, but after that, temperatures go up well into the 70s and into the 80s. And dare say some places may even touch the 90-degree mark on Wednesday or early Thursday of next week. However, it does look like dry and generally mild conditions continuing for a good balance of the upcoming work week. However, there might be a few isolated showers, as I mentioned, on Monday. Maybe another round later on Thursday and Friday with a couple of series of frontal systems working their way. Whole eastern half of the nation is looking pretty good. Big area of high pressure across the eastern Great Lakes and extends all the way down into the Virginias and off to the Carolinas, where the stationary front lies. There's lots of rain across the nation's midsection from Minnesota all the way down through Iowa and to the west coast, too. Rainy conditions just north of LA, up to San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle, all with rain as low pressures just off the coast of Oregon and northern Washington, northern sections of California to northern Washington. But for the most part, we're looking at, again, temperatures today ranging between 60 and 65 around the mid-Atlantic and northeast where we're centered. And looking at fair skies at night, only down to about 42 to 47. It's been so cold in early overnight hours, however, it's going to be milding up. By Sunday night, some clouds. Sunday looks fair, 60 to 65 at night, some clouds. Might be a shower early Monday. Monday's high temperatures back up to around 70 to 75. And into the 80s as we head towards Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, as mentioned. Now, if you're traveling by air today, it looks like we are going to have fair conditions. New York, LaGuardia, JFK. Up to Boston, that's looking good. Buffalo, no problems. Pittsburgh, dry conditions there as well. It's also going to be dry, of course, in Philly and DC and Baltimore, and all the way down into Charlotte and Atlanta. The weather's looking pretty good. There's been a lot of rain across southern Florida. It's just some isolated showers, so no problems weather-wise getting into there. But uh from that point over into Minneapolis, St. Paul, rainy conditions there. Rain also in Houston and Dallas. It could be some locally severe weather in central Texas. And rainy conditions, as mentioned, north of LA, all the way up to the uh coast of California to Oregon and up to Seattle, Tacoma. Rainy conditions with some delays in the Pacific Northwest today. For tomorrow, if you're going to be flying tomorrow, just a quick look at the situation shows uh generally fair conditions across the northeast, down to Atlanta, no problems. Only problem areas will be in Texas, Dallas, and Houston. And also now working its way up to Minnesota and much of California and the West Coast. Still under rain on Sunday. I'm a Dimon, Steve Felder and I am the Weatherman. Hope you have a great day today.
