Hi, this is Midi Roger, Steve Pelletieri, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Sunday, twelfth day of the month of April, 2026. And so far this month of April, weather wise has been averaging between about one and three degrees above normal. That's going to change. After having near normal conditions this past weekend, today included, we're going to have sunshine, a high of about 60 to 65 for your Sunday. We get into a little bit of warm front. Warm front moving through at night brings us a little bit of cloud cover. And temperatures will range back into the 80s, 80 to 85 on Monday. Also about the mid-80s on Tuesday. Each day a little bit warmer. Wednesday could touch 90. Also 80s to near 90 on Thursday. Some showers at night could bring a cool front. And temperatures getting back into the 70s, which is still a very much above normal on Friday, with a chance of some showers. But even Saturday and Sunday of next week, temperatures will range generally between 70 and 75. So a real warm-up coming up over the next several days, culminated by temperatures close to 90, well above normal on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Now, if you're traveling by air today, of course, with all the great weather that we have in the New York area from DC up to the Boston area, no problems weatherwise in and out of the area airports. Good weather expected for today. Same thing down at D.C. and Richmond. Charlotte's looking pretty good. The warm front's already gone through there, so it's going to be very warm across the central Mississippi River Valley, including Tennessee at Nashville. Temperatures will be rising into the 80s today. Also very warm in Atlanta, but dry. Also warm and dry, Central and South Florida. So showers and thunderstorms still hampering the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth area. Expect some delays going into there. Also some showers and thunderstorms in both Chicago and in sections of Minnesota, but probably clearing out of Minneapolis. Looks like our weather will be improving a bit there. But the whole West Coast under much needed rainy weather from San Diego, right up to LA, San Francisco, Portland, and up to Seattle. Looking at rainy weather from an area of low pressure moving in from the Pacific. But for the Northeast, though, it does look like fair dry weather. Quick look ahead into Monday's weather situation. Still pretty good for the New York area. No problems down to Atlanta. And the real problem spots probably around Chicago. Some improving weather across much of California. But both Portland and Seattle will be under rainy weather on Monday. Recapping for today, there'll plenty of sunshine in the 60s, but warming up this week, it'll touch 90 by midweek. I'm Doggers Heat Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Monday. See you then.
