SPEAKER_00Hi, this is MiddleBrotter Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPod.com on your Tuesdays. It's the 14th day of the month of April, 2026. Normally this time of year in mid-Atlantic states temperatures should range in the low to middle 60s for daytime highs. And nighttime lows down to about 40 to 45. Well, we're going to be averaging a good 20 degrees above that today, tomorrow, and probably even Thursday. Friday's even going to be a little bit above normal. Then we do have a frontal system arriving this upcoming weekend, but that will probably bring us back to near normal temperature trends for the weekend and into early next week. But for today, plenty of sunshine, high range between 80 and 85. Generally could be a late day shower, especially in central and northern portions of Pennsylvania and western New York State. And then for tonight, partly cloudy down to about 59 to 65. Tomorrow's weather, that's the hot one. Wednesday, 85 to 90, mostly sunny. Late-day evening thunderstorms a good bet for tomorrow evening, the probability increasing between 40 and 60% from D.C. all the way up to the Boston area. And nighttime low temperatures back into the 60s. And Thursday's looking partly sunny, a high of 85 to 88 degrees. It looks like a high of around 84 Friday, but there is that chance of some showers and then a weatherfront moving through that will bring us into some cooler weather for late in the weekend and early next week. Now, along coastal areas, because the breeze may be a little bit off the water, you'll have some temperatures a little bit cooler, especially around the Delmar, Jersey coast and Long Island coast, but for the most part, any place further inland, that's where it's going to be quite warm. Warmest day of the period is going to be on Wednesday. Now, if you're flying today, it looks like our weather situation for the day is not too bad. We do have some scattered isolated showers and some thunderstorms in the vicinity for the afternoon, but the early going looks good. Later at evening, it also looks pretty good. Fair skies down in D.C. and Baltimore looks good in Charlotte and Atlanta. Fine weather central and South Florida, just some uh thunderstorms across the keys. It's dry in Houston and Dallas Fort Worth. Some scattered showers in Chicago, uh dry conditions but clouds in Minneapolis, but it looks like LA, San Francisco, dry now. Looks like just some showers in Portland and Seattle later on today and tonight. Weather picture for tomorrow? Well, it looks like the 15th will probably show more defined areas of rain from central Texas up through Chicago. So Chicago, again, the problem spot. Also looking at lots of rain in Portland and Seattle, maybe some delays going into there. But fair weather's for the most part, but very warm for the New York area and down to DC and the mid Atlantic states. I'm Dimon Justine Fellatier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Wednesday. See you then.
