Welcome And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Biddy Balder, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Thursday, 16th day, the month of April, 2026. Now into the second half of the month. After some very warm weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, actually yesterday, temperatures range between about 85 and 90 daytime today. It'll probably get up to near the 90 degree mark, 10 degrees cooler on Friday, and about a good 10, 11 degrees cooler on Saturday. Even cooler still, Sunday and Monday. So the trend is now downward after a very warm day upcoming for today. Mostly sunny skies, upper 80s, lower 90s, southwest winds, some clouds at night down into the middle to upper 60s. Friday is looking like a partly sunny day, but there will be some late day and evening showers, highs of 81. Those showers and possibly even a thunderstorm down to about 56. Then partly sunny, highs near 70 on Saturday. Nice day. Another round of some showers with another cool front arriving Saturday night and on Sunday. So it could be some wet weather on Sunday morning. Sunday's high temperature is only up to 63. And then we get into that cooler flow. Monday, lower 50s, Tuesday, lower 60s, back up into the mid-70s by the middle portion of next week. But in the meantime, we've got a very warm day upcoming today. Highs will rains into the upper 80s and lower 90s with sunshine. Now, if you're traveling by air today, basically good weather across much of the northeast. The Boston area may have a few light showers, but New York, LaGuardia, JFK, down to Philly, Baltimore, D.C. all looking very good, as does Richmond and even down to Charlotte and in Atlanta, busiest airport in the world. They're looking at some pretty good weather there. There's no problems in and out of there. Central and South Florida also looking pretty good. Fort Myers to Miami to Fort Lauderdale, all looking pretty good at this point. No problems weather-wise. Still looks like some rain in the Chicago area, but dry up in Minneapolis, St. Paul. There's snow across the central and northern mountains of Idaho and western sections of Montana. Some of that cold air is starting to head east. We'll talk about that in just a moment. But it does look like dry conditions from LA up to San Francisco and also high pressure building in from the Pacific will give some nice weather for a day or two in Portland and Seattle today. Now, for tomorrow, a quick look does cause a little bit of uh concern for some delays later afternoon, evening on Friday in the New York area. Dry in Atlanta, no problems, Florida. Also looking at the possibility of some showers in Minneapolis, St. Paul, but dry weather over on the West Coast. I'm any moderate, Steve Pelletieri, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on Friday. See you then.
