Welcome And Today’s Setup
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Biddy Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Wednesdays, the 22nd day of the month of April, 2026. And it looks like our weather situation across the Mid Atlantic and Northeast is a little bit unsettled today. There'll be a mix of clouds, a few sunny times and temperatures, generally in the lower 60s, just about where it should be this time of year. And there's also about a 30% chance of some showers, but really not a lot of rainfall. It has been dry so far in the east this month of April. I'm looking at possibility of maybe a tenth of an inch today. And then it looks like dry weather for Thursday and Friday for the most part. Maybe some showers Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. It looks like some rainy weather could move into the northeast. However, even that at this point, still a little bit uncertain. It looks like the dry trend will continue right through the end of the month, which brings us right up to Thursday of next week on the 30th. And uh at that point, temperatures will probably be uh near normal. So our forecast for today calling for variably cloudy conditions, there'll be some sun, there'll be some clouds. Also just about a 30% chance of some scattered showers, nothing heavy, nothing of long duration, and temperatures of about low to middle sixties, partly cloudy at night back to the middle forties. And then sunshine on Thursday warms up tomorrow. Highs will range between 70 and 75. Some clouds at night, 48, and then Friday, although partly sunny, 60 to 65. Slight chance of a shower, mostly late day and Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday, some April showers are possible. 63 for a high. By Sunday, however, it'll be around 55 to 60 on Saturday. Saturday, a little bit cooler than Sunday, but both days with that chance of some scattered showers. Now, if you're flying by air today, looks like the weather situation, of course, uh a little bit of light rain shower action in the northeast, a little warm front poking through, but not going to be producing a lot of rainfall. So I don't see a lot of delays for New York, the Guardio, JFK, or the Boston area, a little bit more of a rainy situation there, so more lower IFR, possibly some slight delays. Slight delays also in Baltimore and DC and Richmond. Good weather in Charlotte, good weather in Atlanta, no problem. Central and South Florida. Chicago's looking pretty good too. Still rainy weather in Houston, Dallas Fort Worth, most of it's to the east. The West Coast has been rainy yesterday. Looks like still some rain from San Francisco up to Portland and Seattle, but dry weather in LA and San Diego today. Tomorrow's weather situation, well, at this point, it looks like everything shifts a little bit further to the east. So dry weather is expected for much of the northeast, except for maybe around Del Marlo. Also some scattered showers, DC and Baltimore. Dry weather in New York. The problem areas looks like it still will be around Houston and also in the west coast, generally drying out, so no problems there. Looks like some snowy weather, northern Utah, western sections of Montana on Thursday. I'm in the Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. And well, talk to your first thing on Thursday. See you then.
