Welcome And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Thursday, 23rd day of the month of April 2026. A month that's been above normal temperature-wise, but looks like temperatures will most likely be a little bit above normal today, but then back to near normal conditions as we head towards Friday and this upcoming weekend, and maybe even some April showers coming up for the weekend too and too early next week. For today, though, look for a good amount of sunshine across the mid-Atlantic and northeast as high temperatures range in the little middle 70s on light northwest winds. There'll be some clouds moving in tonight down near 50, and then partial sunshine on Friday. Highs tomorrow, generally about 65 to 70. It's pretty close to normal for this time of year, and maybe a few light showers at night down to 48. Showers, a better possibility. A little bit more of an east flow, and that'll keep our temperatures in check to about 51 on Saturday, pretty much like it was last Sunday, if you remember. And then Saturday night, maybe some showers down to about 43. A chance of showers still continues on Sunday, mostly cloudy, 55 to 60. Monday, back to sunshine in the 60s, and another round of some showers as we get to the last few days of this month of April, around the middle portion of next week. Now, if you're traveling by air today, some pretty good weather across the Northeast, New York, LaGuardia, JFK, no problems weather-wise as far as delays are concerned, but it does look like nice weather up in Boston, too. If you like showers at Dulles and D.C. and also around Baltimore, heading down to Charlotte and Atlanta. Looks like Charlotte will be okay. A little bit of fog and smoke in the Atlanta area, but no major problems weather-wise there. Some showers across central and south Florida, mostly across the interior peninsula. And in Houston, the showers have ended. Dallas-Fort Worth also a little bit out of cloud cover, but the showers will be over the eastern portion of the state and over Louisiana and Arkansas. Dry weather in the West Coast, finally, San Diego, all the way up to Portland and Seattle. All weather's looking good in San Francisco and LA as well. Still some snow across the western mountains of Montana and northern Idaho. Quick look at tomorrow's picture. Still dry weather in the east. The showers moving closer to Chicago and Minneapolis, St. Paul, and then we'll be moving through the area, no problems weather wise in Texas, Florida, or on the West Coast. I'm Middle Bogger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on Friday. See you then.
