Quick Hello And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Midi Roger, Steve Pelleteria, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpod.com on your Friday, 24th day of the month of April, 2026. And our weather situation this week really dry. There was a few sprinkles and showers, I think, for the most part. This whole month of April in the mid-Atlantic Northeast has been very dry. It's been dry across much of the country. And here in the Northeast, after having a cold winter and a warm March with near normal temperatures and uh conditions, second half of March and then second half of April also. Uh, looks like we might get between one and one and a quarter inches of rainfall, depending upon where you are on Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, and on Sunday. We do get into a clearing trend on Monday of next week, and then back to the possibility of some much needed showers around the middle portion of next week as we end the month of April. But it does look like great weather for today. Good amount of sunshine or highs upper 60s, lower 70s. The clouds roll in tonight down to 47. Looks like rainy weather on Saturday. Saturday's high is generally in the 50s, right up along the coast. East winds will keep temperatures in check there, 40s to lower 50s. That's what the ocean temperature is right now. And then on Sunday, still the possibility of some showers or occasional rain. High temperatures of 55. The storms move offshore. Monday's looking mostly sunny back into the low to middle 60s on Monday. Looks like great weather for the Northeast. Uh Boston, New York, LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, all looking good. Weather wise, no problems as far as the weather is concerned for today. We do see uh the possibility of some cloud cover moving into the south, but still no major problems for D.C., Baltimore, Richmond, even down to Charlotte and in Atlanta, the weather is looking pretty good. And the frontal system will be approaching the Chicago area, so that will be causing rain there. It has already cleared through Minneapolis, so no problems in the Minnesota down to the uh central and south Florida. It looks like scattered afternoon-evening showers. Uh dry weather in Houston and Dallas after some early rains. And then on the west coast, well, it looks like dry conditions continue from San Diego, LA, San Francisco, all the way up to Portland and Seattle. A dry patch of weather continues, but it continues to snow across much of Montana, northern sections of Wyoming, and eastern portions of Idaho. Uh eventually that area of low pressure becomes a warmer situation and may bring us some rainy weather towards the middle portion of next week. But uh in the eastern seaboard, it looks like the rainy weather that we're expecting is going to be on Saturday, Saturday night, and on Sunday. So if you're traveling on Saturday, it will be IFR in rainy conditions. Looks for some delays in New York, Boston, D.C., Baltimore, and even some rainy weather down in Atlanta and Charlotte. Still some showers down in Florida, dry weather in Texas. Uh, West Coast is also looking dry for Saturday. I've been your Roger C Fellow Tierra, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. And we'll talk to you first thing on Saturday. See you then. Have a great day.
