Host Greeting And Date
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is MiddleMounder Steve Pelletier and I'm The Weatherman. Thanks for checking in to theweathermanpound.com on Tuesday, the 28th day of the month of April, 2026. Beautiful day on Monday. And we have some uh pretty nice weather coming up for today across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Generally fair skies, but an increase in clouds by later in the day. Our temperatures will range in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Some clouds will move in for tonight with overnight lows back into the middle to upper 40s. And Wednesday is going to be a mostly cloudy day. Now there is a chance of some showers, maybe just a tenth of an inch of rainfall during the daylight hours on Wednesday, and high temperatures, generally the mid-60s, with some more showers likely at night. Nighttime low temperatures back down into the upper 40s now. A little bit more rainfall. Looks like the possibility of a half to three-quarters of an inch of rainfall throughout the mid-Atlantic and northeast. That'll be on Wednesday night and early Thursday. Thursday, those showers, likely maybe an extra quarter of an inch during the daytime high 61. Then we get into some nice weather for the first day of May. Friday, sunshine 61. Saturday and Sunday is going to be a bit on the cool side, a little bit below normal, upper 50s, lower 60s, all with generally fair skies for this weekend. Now, if you're traveling by air today, a strong frontal system working its way through the Ohio Valley, extending all the way down into North Texas, will cause showers to the east of that frontal system, extending from central New York State all the way down to central PA and then down into the mid-Atlantic states. Locally severe weather, possible in North Texas and southern Oklahoma, as that frontal system will continue to advance very, very slowly and become stationary through Arkansas. In the meantime, it still looks like some more snowy weather across western and northwestern Wyoming and even into western portions of Montana. But the weather in New York looking pretty good. If we have some rain, it's going to be more like later in the day and at night the heaviest rainfall with that frontal system at night. So no major delays weather wise since in New York, LaGuardia JFK. And looking up into Boston area, also looking dry, some showers in the Charlotte area. Also occasional light rain and showers in Atlantis. Nothing major. Central and South Florida will be good. Houston, dry, but the possibility of some locally severe thunderstorms in Dallas, Fort Worth. So expect some delays getting into there during this afternoon and tonight. Chicago, just windy and dry. Dry weather in Minneapolis, St. Paul. West Coast, mostly dry conditions. San Diego, San Francisco, all the way up to Portland and Seattle. Although in Seattle, some rain is likely by later on today. I'm Bindy Roger, Steve Fellatier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. We'll be reposting our report on artificial intelligence and the U.S. and world weather models. That'll be a little bit later on this afternoon. Check on after sometime about 1 or 2 p.m. today, we should have it reposted. I'm India Roger, Steve Fellatier. Have a great day. Talk to your first thing tomorrow.
