Hi, this is Meteorile Justine Pelletier. I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Thursday, the 30th day of the month of April. We've made it to the end of the month, 2026. And uh, well, we started out with uh generally fair skies yesterday, had some rain at night. Looked like for the most part it was between a quarter and three-quarters of an inch, depending upon where you were across the mid-Atlantic and northeast. And that's going to keep our amounts for the month of April down about an inch to an inch and a half below normal. The temperatures that I have been looking at uh generally are going to be a little bit above normal, maybe about a degree or two. Uh, some places are even near normal because we've backed basically since we've had that very warm weather that we had back around the 13th and 15th of the month of April, that it has been on the cool side or a little bit below normal. And of course, it really matters. So if you take a look, uh there's a few more days, I think, uh, that temperatures were below normal than they were above normal. But when they were above normal, they were so high that made all the difference in the world. So uh uh above normal April with temperatures uh below normal as far as precipitation is concerned, and now we're entering into the month of May. It's gonna be a little bit on the cool side tomorrow. Today, sunshine with the showers moving east, getting into a sunny day. Uh low to middle 60s, northwest winds at 5 to 10, gusting to 25. It'll be clear at night, 40 to 45, sunshine Friday. Highshore the day will range between 60 and 65. There could be a few showers. Friday night into Saturday with nighttime lows 44. They're gonna be on the light side, mostly centered north, I think uh south of, say, Philadelphia, down to Baltimore and D.C. It should be generally dry. But on the cool side, as mentioned, uh Saturday mixed clouds and sun with a sprinkle chance near 60, like an April showerish type of situation. And then Sunday, mostly sunny 61. By Monday, temperatures back up into the 60s to near lower 70s for Monday afternoon. Now, if you're traveling by air today, frontal system moving through during the morning hours, and it's going to make for a few light showers in the New York area. I don't think any major problems weather-wise for New York, Lagubardi, JFK, Philly, Baltimore, and D.C. are looking pretty good. There will be some rain up around the Boston area, could cause a little bit of delays, and so they're nothing much but uh just some showers moving through. A clearing trend there expected as well. Charlotte's looking good, and Atlanta also drying out as the showers moved in during the overnight and the morning hours. Looks like some rain in Jacksonville, but dry down in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm. West Coast showing dry conditions all the way up to Seattle. Uh, Houston also looking at showers and locally heavy rains and thunderstorms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Could cause some delays going into there. DFW or Low Field, looking at uh generally dry conditions in Chicago, but there are showers just off to the west and up into Wisconsin, and even the possibility of some scattered showers around Minneapolis, St. Paul with some cool weather there. Quick look at tomorrow's situation. Most of the nation will be okay, West Coast, East Coast, but there will be heavy weather across Texas. If you're going to Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Amarillo, or even in through uh the Fort Corners region, there will be some heavy weather. And even snow across central and southern sections of Colorado, Denver, uh to the mountains, west and south. Uh, there will be some hefty amounts of snow during the daytime on the first day of May Friday. I'll be your ball just Steve Pelleterian. I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Friday, first day of May. See you then.
