Welcome And Weekend Recap
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is video brother, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpod.com on your Mondays, the fourth day of the month of May, 2026, and some pretty nice weather this past weekend. With a little bit on the cool side, I know. However, it is going to start warming up this week. That starts off with temperatures in the 70s today. It'll be going into the 80s on Tuesday, and maybe some showers on Wednesday and Thursday in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. That'll be for this week. And then Friday starts cool back again. Another high pressure down from the Great Lakes. Sunshine in the lower 60s. And that type of weather trend will continue through next weekend as well. But we do have some warm weather coming up, at least for a couple of days. Commencing Tuesday and on Wednesday. The warmest day will be on Tuesday. Mostly sunny on Monday, 70 to 75. Tuesday sunshine, 82. A little bit cooler along the shore with a little sea breeze there. And maybe those showers are possible on Tuesday night. And showers on Wednesday. Temperatures Wednesday with the showers near 70 degrees than that. Cooling back that we expected for later Thursday and Friday of this week. If you're traveling by air today, sure on cold front moving down out of the Great Lakes is going to cause some showers across the central and UP of Michigan and central portions of Wisconsin. Looks like a clearing, very chilly trend across Minnesota. So no problems in Minnesota and also at Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chicago. Looking at that front moving through later in the day and at night, slight delays into there. No problems into the New York area weather-wise. That's just going to be great. And no problems with good weather up in Boston. And Charlotte and Atlanta, dry conditions, some scattered thunderstorms. Late day in South Florida, but nothing major. Houston and Dallas looking pretty good. And in Los Angeles, maybe a shower. Otherwise, San Francisco clouds in the morning, a daytime shower, and then a clearing trend for a while. Portland and Seattle are looking pretty good as well. Quick look on the 5th. Well, we see that heavy area of rainfall across the central Mississippi River Valley, but it still looks dry in the east. Very warm day coming up from New York. No major problems. The only problems that we do see possibly in Cleveland, Toledo, and just exiting the Chicago area on Tuesday. I'm Betty Mall, just Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Looks like a great day coming up for today. Heizel reach into the 80s on Tuesday. Hope you have a good one. Talk to you first thing tomorrow. See you then.
