Quick Intro And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Middle Brothers Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpot.com on your Tuesday, fifth day of the fifth month of 2026. A beautiful day in May coming up for today across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast looking at sunshine with our highest today in the upper 70s, low to middle eighties, above normal conditions for today for just about a day. And then we get into some scattered showers for tomorrow. Highest again to 80 to 85 today with southwest winds at 5 to 15. They'll be gusting up to 30. So not only breezy and mild, but also plenty of sunshine too. Tonight becoming mostly cloudy down to the lower 60s. And some showers and thunderstorms are likely tomorrow. The amount of rainfall that we're expecting for tomorrow could range between about a quarter of an inch daytime. And with some thunderstorms likely tomorrow night, uh, there is could be some locally heavy downpours, and the amounts of rainfall could approach about a half inch in some places. There's still the possibility of some showers on Thursday, but a cool front moves through, so it will be clearing. High of 62, again, it's a chance of a shower. But on Friday, mostly sunny 64. And here's a look at this upcoming weekend. Uh Saturday, there's going to be a partly sunny day, breezy and cool, low to middle 60s, a slight chance of a shower. And Sunday mostly sunny up to 72 this weekend. If you're traveling by air today, a quick look around the nation shows fair skies and very breezy and mild across the mid-Atlantic and northeast, so no problems. New York, Boston, all the way down to D.C., good weather. Good weather in Atlanta and Charlotte. No problems down in central and South Florida, too. The showers and thunderstorms will be across central Ohio into the central Mississippi River Valley. The showers will be leaving through the Chicago area. In the Chicago area this morning, there will be some showers, but in the afternoon, a clearing trend. Fair skies in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, some showers are possible. Also, some showers in LA and also San Francisco, but try in Seattle and Tacoma. Also, it looks like uh having some cooler conditions moving down into Montana and northern portions of the Dakotas and northern Minnesota, where there's got to be some snow today. But elsewhere across the nation, mild to the east and generally dry, but very warm across the southwest. I'm Eddie Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I'm the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Wednesday. Have a good one.
