Quick Hello And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Bidi Roller Steve Pelleterian. I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPond.com on your Thursday, seventh day of the month of May, 2026. Had some pretty nice weather so far this month. Yesterday, we had some light rain showers, nothing much, but it looks like uh also a fair day coming up for today across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. That's where we're centered. Generally from Philadelphia up to New York City, up to the Boston area, the weather looks pretty good. Some early clouds giving way to sunshine and highs ranging into the mid-60s and looking at northwest winds at around five to ten miles per hour. Now, tonight it's going to be partly cloudy and overnight, lows back into the mid-40s. There might be a few showers off to the west and north, but generally, most of the time, most places it'll be dry and rain free. Another sunny day for Friday. Highs for tomorrow, double six, middle sixties, and skies will be generally fair for a good portion of the day, but clouds will be on the increase in the afternoon and evening. We're looking at mostly cloudy skies at night near 50. Your best chance of rain for this weekend will be on Saturday, maybe even a thunderstorm. High 67. Showers likely Saturday night, too. It's much needed in rain, too. It's been quite dry for the last several months. And uh temperatures overnight, Saturday into Sunday down to near 50. Mother's Day, Sunday. It's Mother's Day looking at mostly sunny skies, highs in the 70s to the lower 80s on Sunday afternoon. Now, if you're traveling by air today, looks like fair weather across the New England states, down to the New York City area of Philadelphia, too. Could be some showers, though, in Central and South Jersey, and some showers also around the coast of North Carolina, Virginia, and down into South Carolina, Georgia. We'll be clearing out in Atlanta, so Charlotte also looking at the possibility of some showers, maybe some showers, but nothing much, nothing major in the Baltimore area, D.C., but there will be clouds and some rain possible there. Central and South Florida looking pretty good all the way down to Miami. It looks like Houston. A few scattered showers, but then Dallas Fort Worth, dry and warm. Some showers in the Chicago area. Nothing much. Looks dry in Minneapolis, St. Paul, West Coast, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, and Tacoma, and also Portland all looking dry. On this day and your Thursday, it looks like Friday's weather situation. Only problem spots that we're going to see around Houston and Dallas. There could be some rain showers there, maybe a few isolated showers in the Chicago area, but nothing major as far as traveling by air expected for Friday. I'm your mind, Steve Fellaterian. Talk to you out first thing on Friday. See you then.
